If you are interested in a cruise that really lets you visit quite a few places and you like the idea of the Carib - Royal Carribean has a Southern Carribean cruise that takes off out of Puerto Rico that stops at 5 different islands, one each day. You arrive each morning, leave around dinner time and are at the next island the next morning. The only full day of sea is the trip back up the last day. A fabulous way to check places out - that is what led us to taking a week's vacation in St. Maartin.

I've been on 3 now. I thought I'd hate them, but turns out to be one of my favorite ways to vacation. SOOOO relaxing. You just have to pick the right one for you. And I always make sure to ask for a table for two, which you can usually do these days (HATE eating in large groups of people I don't know).
I have only done two, but I love having a table with one or two other couples - no bigger than that though.

My friends, who are much more responsible and involved, have their dramas, like real SL drama... while I am gadding about.

So I don't always get my turn to blab.

Ok opinions.

Turning 50 in May. Want to take amazing vacation to celebrate but, don't want to spend an outright fortune. Only been to Barcelona as far as Europe is concerned so would love to go anywhere overseas.

Nothing hot and humid. Blah. Ok might consider Hawaii. May probably would be nice but, I think it may be too expensive that time of year anyway.

Of course, Ghosty is attached at the hip. I think he's hoping for Amsterdam or Ireland although both are contenders without him having to beg for them anyway.

Hit me with your best shot :) . Where would YOU go?

Actually I had a slave do that once when I was heavily into Gor. My companion bought her as a present to be my maid and assist me with my wardrobe. Needless to say she didn't last long there. Her short life ended at the jaws of urts when she was thrown in the river after she was caught. Managed to "kill" seven men though but that was deemed unrealistic roleplay and discounted. That's Gor for you though, all drama, all the time ;)

if i ever decide to quit SL, i'll be sure to invite you all for the show, and definitely go out this way! :)

I miss all the fun stuff in Gor.

For Elora: I've heard Prague is gorgeous and pretty cheap, and would be lovely in May. Me personally, I'd go to India or Egypt.
I have it on good authority that the Czech Republic is a wonderful place to visit. I'd also love to go to India or Egypt.
