There was an old bug (and you know how they like to recur) which did that. Have him pop into Appearance and back out again next time and see if that fixes it for you.

Great pix Kaimi... a few months ago (in RL) I had this errant thought it would be good to take up rollerskating again. Uhm... it wasn't-

I lived at the rollerskating rink as a kid - took lessons, had the cute little skate outfits, could dance on skates and do all sorts of things. When my kids were in grade school, we went to a birthday party at the rollerskating rink. I thought it would be neat to skate again.

Pretty good, was trade off of pay for better life. Less stress and not on call 24/7/265... but still lost a few dollars on the hourly pay.

But this job isn't killing me.
Yeah, we do all have to remember that our own sanity is worth dollars also. I have done the same - taken a pay cut just to get some of my own life back.

That could explain it. We were both using a third party viewer based on a slightly older version. Thanks Ann. :)

Why are Jerboa's jeans showing differently in my viewer, as if the prim cuffs are not there?



(Jerboa and I use the same viewer.)
There is a bug on this, though I forget the specifics. I've experienced the same thing - where the guy's jeans looked fine and then the flares were gone, and it was always after a TP that the pant flares got lost on my view.


ETA: I actually asked the guy often if his pant prims had come off and he was always telling me that there were no prims. It was not until months later that I found out about the bug.

Oh that's priceless advice.

I once went on a date with a guy who was "just" getting over chicken pox of all things. Why he insisted on meeting me with all those marks on his face is beyond me. Did NOT make a good impression at all let alone I've never had chicken pox and was freaked out he may still be contagious!

Date didn't go well for other reasons too, and needless to say there was no 2nd date. BTW, he called for one, of course because he seemed to think we got along just wonderfully :eek:

Are you using Nicholaz BE based on 1.18.5.3? That was the viewer I used for the longest time and probably the one where I was always experiencing this issue.

This bug seems to come back on a semi-regular basis. I remember it from the first few months I was in SL and I'm pretty sure it has reemerged and been 'fixed' at least two more times since.

The space hooker avatar is pretty neat. That picture doesn't do it justice, IMHO. And the second, the marionette, is really really well done to see in person. The aggressive fighter in the last one is, as noted before, perfect for when the mood strikes.

They all come with fantastic shapes. I wish I could find a store with reasonably priced copy/mod shapes of that quality. Some people say that making shapes is easy and wonder why anybody would pay for one, but my body shape has evolved over more than a year to get where it is, and the face is purchased. I just don't have the talent to make them, it would seem. And as I tinker more in SL, I'd rather like to have a few different shapes to play with. Can anybody recommend places to go look?

Anyway, I hope you post a few more pics of the first two Lexxi, when you get a chance. They really are great work.
