Hey you.*hugs* I am actually having all kinds of issues with SL lately.I can't take a pic without crashing. My skin looks horrible on my screen. I randomly get a bad "stuttering" when walking.I've tried everything to see what the problem is. Updated my drivers and it worked good for a day. It's all completely random too. Sometimes it works great,more often not. I have a feeling some other program is interfering with SL. Because when I first bought this computer(and it was empty) SL was working great. Anyway, so my lingerie mission has been put aside for the mean time.

And yes Pit told me you hired him. Very cool. I will be there for sure,even if I have to sit perfectly still the whole time. Did you already send out an invite? I get so many notices from all these subscribe -o- matic groups I might of have missed it.

Rioko, have you tried the new Release Candidate? It's pretty stable....on my computer anyway...YMMV.

Hehe, it's funny the other morning we joked about putting the Tassimo machine by the bedside because we both need coffee so badly when we wake up. Would be so nice to just pop one of those pods in and "Voila!" 30 seconds later we both would have a hot cup of coffee and neither of us would have barely moved out of the bed lol.

My RL hubby used to keep the coffeemaker on the nightstand when I met him. But after we moved to liquid coffee creamer instead of powdered, that didn't work well anymore

Tassimo has pods that have liquid creamer, real stabilized milk which doesn't need to be refrigerated

Re: RC- Well,skin looks much better and no stuttering.(Though the stuttering would need further testing,since it does not happen all the time)

Still crashed on pic though. If I e-mail the pic to myself,it does not crash. Only crashes on upload and save. I cannot save textures to hard drive either without crashing. No idea what could be causing this.


ETA-this is all with the default low settings. The only thing I change is local lights and turn off avatar impostors.

I got tired of waiting for a full rezz - some may not have shown up.

I spoke to some friends of his tonight. It was so touching, I wanted to add his name here and they gave me that texture to share with all of you.

Pretty good, was trade off of pay for better life. Less stress and not on call 24/7/265... but still lost a few dollars on the hourly pay.

But this job isn't killing me.

So... my ankle is better. Swole up a lot last night, and walking was difficult, but I spent the evening with my leg elevated and was for once exempt from domestic duties... so I guess I only hurt but didn't damage myself.

As I walked to work I was careful to not get distracted by talking to myself, so no further incidents occurred.

But inworld, man! Things can get so complicated, can't they? I often wish I had a blog so I could write about what happens, but it's all so personal and involves other people...

Luckily I ran into a friend who listened to me dump out some of my accumulated tellings... It isn't complaints, you know, or problems or distress of any kind... it's just that things happen, funny (to laugh) things, and there is no one to tell.

I do have good friends inworld, but they have their own stuff going on too... conversation is a timeshare after all...

I need to find a way to disguise myself and my circumstances and blog it. I gotta figure out a way.

We keep an electric teakettle in our bedroom, along with an assortment of herbal teas and cookies, since we almost burned the house down leaving water to boil on the stove downstairs all night the week we moved in (the whistle on that kettle didn't work).
