Good morning everyone! If you've sent a card, thank you so much! Been crazy busy and my mom arrives from California at noon today - and surprise! I didn't get my house finished. Ohhhh welll :)

Well all, certain of you may be relieved to note that I am likely to be offline pretty much for the next couple of weeks as my company has been requested in rl.

So Happy Christmas and a Joyful New Year. I hope everyone has a great holiday and gets what they want from Santa, rather than what they might deserve.

Pep (or is that speaking for myself?)

LOL...there's this "addiction" I have...prevents me from cleaning my house until I have no choice - and Mom's not all that particular. ;)

I love the photo Mari!

Yay!

From: Vampaerus Wysznik
wow. That's a whole lotta atmosphere in one pic. Impressive.

Thankoo. I used the "foggy" windlight setting on that, the rest is the sim and the build itself. It was a fun build to do. When I got the plot, I had no idea what I would do with it. I had originally been bidding on a completely different location (where the ski shop is in Blitzen), and planning an A-frame chalet. This idea came to me shortly after winning the auction and looking on Aunty Google for places in Alaska and British Columbia.

Yay!!! The Mari Weekend Update came early today!!

Mari, thanks for reminding me about the Holiday Marketplace. The Livingtree Outpost looks fantastic.

We had such fun ice skating and snowmobiling and snowball fighting the other night when we were in Livingtree.

That pic of the Caroling Tinies!!!! Cute. Did they have tiny voices, too? :p

Thank you again for posting your great pics, Mari.

Glad you liked the updated, an that you had fun on Livingtree, too! Also happy ya like the outpost. :-)

Yes, the tinies had tiny voices. and tiny carols. Here's the words one of of their songs:

~*~The First Waff-EL, The TInies did Say, Was to certain small critters at home as they Ate~*~
~*~At home as they Ate, Licking their Paws, Wishing for NOMS Golden Crispy to Gnaw~*
~*Waff-EL, Waff-EL,Waff-EL, Waff-EL...Born is the Breakfast Treat that is WAFF-EL!~*~

Yikes!

Yesterday was single digits. But today is in the 20s. Of course we have waist high snow drifts...but it's plenty warm outside. :)

@ Mo- There is snow and a snowman and some festive decor in the castle keep as well. Haven't gotten to the gardens as yet- and it snows INSIDE the dungeon so bring a blankie!

I had been having a very hard time trying to decide how to say Merry Christmas to all the great people I have met here in the forums and sl over the last year. The answer was provided by the ladies of this thread. I thank you all for your unwitting participation in wishing all of the people of the forums a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

And in case you need some thawing out this morning:

[img

[/img]

I'll take the fireplace. It's 11 degrees here in NYC. When I left my house in NJ this morning, I'm pretty sure it was less and the wind was whipping around like I was in the North Pole or something. The kind of weather where you wish you'd called in sick to work. Inhuman. It's way to early in the season to have these kinds of wind chills - I think they said -20 degrees with them, something like that.

@ Mari - loved the photos!

@ Pattigee - welcome to the Thread!

@ Brenda - Excellent name for your puppy :)

@ whomever posted that "Entrance Fail" photo originally: I am SO confused!!!

@ everyone else - Good morning! Have a great day!
