You have no idea how often this happens in the DC area. And then...when it really does snow..or there's an ice storm...the schools don't close. We've given up trying to figure out the decision-making process.

they can't NOT have school, because then they'd have to make up the day - and the bitching of the parents to the school employees over having to make up a day is much much worse than them bitching with each other about inconvenient driving.

Ann, I found some freebies in your signature colour, dunno if you wanna check em out or not.

Sweeter than Candy has boxes under the tree, number 2 has a teal outfit in it. stuff on every layer, and it can make a few different looks. Its the usual ripped up neko style.

My daughter came home from college on Sat, baked 4 dozen snickerdoodles late Sun night, then since there were only about 6 or so cookies left this morning, she baked another couple dozen today.

Did I mention how much I like it when she comes home these days.

I have decided that in the spirit of Christmas and as a token of goodwill towards others that I will not bite anyone until after New Year :) Even though you will all have lovely enriched blood after all that food and drink.
