In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,

Our God, Heaven cannot hold Him, nor earth sustain;
Heaven and earth shall flee away when He comes to reign.

The Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ.

Enough for Him, whom cherubim, worship night and day,
Breastful of milk, and a mangerful of hay;
Enough for Him, whom angels fall before,
The ox and ass and camel which adore.

Angels and archangels may have gathered there,
Cherubim and seraphim thronged the air;
But His mother only, in her maiden bliss,
Worshipped the beloved with a kiss.

What can I give Him, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb;
If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part;

I'll send you a full perms copy in a few....I liekd my picture, thought it was a shame the calendar never happened...i wasn't around for the other one, so I got excited over being in it lol.

Thanks Mo. I don't want to tell you how much time I spent doing that - when I should have been working on paying projects. I even considered seeing if I could make a Rockettes high kick pose for the chorus line.

Ashe - your pics of your home are great! you have done a terrific job decorating! it's really pretty. i found myself wishing i could step into the moniter, if only for a little while. :)

Doughnuts!!



The Krisy Kreme near us had some problems which mean they had to close early....lucky us happened to be in the store when they were giving all the doughnuts away at stupidly small prices. I think we ended up with 2 dozen of the things for what we'd normally pay for 4.

no no NO don't eat the donuts. they are really bad for you. they'll make you fat. can i have the jelly filled one?

You have no idea how often this happens in the DC area. And then...when it really does snow..or there's an ice storm...the schools don't close. We've given up trying to figure out the decision-making process.

It is one of my favorites, too. I recently discovered to the singer on that one, Corrinne May, and have been listening to her a lot.
