Allie, I was looking, once again, at your signature line: Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. And enjoy life. I really like it. I just googled it to see what popped up, and on one of the sites, I found this: Remember, if a dog was the teacher, you would learn things like: - When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
- Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
- Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
- Take naps.
- Stretch before rising.
- Run, romp, and play daily.
- Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
- Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
- On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
- On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
- When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
- Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
- Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
- Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.
- If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
- When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
- Be always grateful for each new day.

From: Maureen Boccaccio /me checks train schedule...I can be there in time for dinner! /me checks too 4 hours or so, right? I'll be home before 7 lol. But I think we're having left over lasagna that Ghosty made Monday night. I assume that will be ok too? Sadly, our "dining" area is still a shambles. We've been eating at the couch since we moved in, which I hate. It's the last part of the house we need to attend to but neither of us have had the wherewithall to move anything out of the way yet. We're both inherently lazy when you come right down to it and I think after the blitz of moving we just finally had our fill of it all and have thrown up our hands, temporarily calling a halt to anything which remotely smacks of moving, rearranging, or the like /wonders how long we'll be tripping over my china and crystal boxes until we can find a home for those....

From: Ann Launay lol, I took that and the angel pics last night and just found it amusing that the completely covered up Ann managed to look far naughtier than the one in her underwear. It's that sultry pose looking back over your shoulder--at least that's part of it. I've been on a turtleneck sweater binge ever since my SL BF told me he loves turtlenecks on women.

Do I need to break out the tatter tots, missy?

Do I need to break out the tatter tots, missy? Oh, no! Not the tots, anything but that. I promise to be good *winks* Thanks for making me laugh. I'm stuck on 259 of the PoE hunt, my head is full of troublesome thoughts and I don't want to go to work tonight

I get all my best SL travel tips from this thread. I'm too lazy to look back but a big "Thank You" to whoever posted the pic and mentioned Mao Island. What an awesome serious of builds! Flying a balloon over the Great Wall at sunrise, it would be pretty tough to top that in RL. Trying to decide what to name this pic did bring up a question. How do you (or can you) determine if it's sunrise or sunset in SL? I guess waiting around to see which way the sun is going would work.

Also, the sunrises have a rosey light and the sun sets are golden. If all else fails ... World > Environment Settings > Set Sun > Sunset Something like that anyway.

If all else fails ... World > Environment Settings > Set Sun > Sunset Something like that anyway. You can also see what time it is in the world around you by looking at Advanced settings. The place where you can move the amount of light around. Whatever it is set at when you open it is the time in the world. This helps if you just want to know the time and not force midnight, or noon, or whatever. Which reminds me that "Advanced Settings" is the last option on that force window. I have been locked out of SL since like forever so I can't give exact information here.

From: Dilbert Dilweg Mmmmmm Beeeerrrrr The oldest proven records of brewing are about 6000 years old and refer to the Sumarians Sumaria lay between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, encompassing Southern Mesopotamia. The Sumarians discovered the fermentation process by chance. Of course, nobody knows today, exactly how this occurred, but it could be that a piece of bread became wet and was simply forgotten. After a short time the bread began to ferment and a inebriating pulp resulted. The Sumarians were able to repeat this process and are assumed to be he first civilized culture to brew beer. They had discovered a "divine drink" which they offered to their gods. http://www.eat-online.net/italian/habits/beer_in_ancient_times.htm
