From: Brenda Connolly I've actually started reading a real, honest to goodness non audio book the other day. It's been a while. I haven't had many days in my whole life that didn't include recreational reading. Most days I spent several hours reading. From: Maureen Boccaccio Wow! what a great deal, Lil. ... I keep trying to tell people to write to designers if they have a question. I never ever expected that the designers would send me these gratis; I only wanted to know if it was possible for them to make the item and that I'd be happy to pay for it! OMG! Maureen! I was working on a little project for you and then I never got back to you. I'm so sorry! Did you get the last thing I sent you? IM me when you get a chance. From: Ann Launay *flits through* Wow. Wow. From: Allegria Kanto So anyway, after a couple weeks, here is my very first build! I'll say one thing, building keeps you busy.. I like it a lot.

From: Oryx Tempel Please remember that many of those "forests" are owned and were planted by wood/paper companies like Weyerhauser. The "forests" are single species stands of trees, designed to be harvested in 30 to 40 or more years. I see nothing wrong with this. I suppose mines are bad too? I don't know these pretty old and I always thought they were a part of the Nature Reserve and a State Park. There are places in my area where less and less trees. It just makes me sad. I never lived or grew up in a mine so I don't know if it is bad or not. Have you? LOL

From: 3Ring Binder if it exceeds 8% we are all in for a heap of hurt! you know this'll go global, right? Wow? Really? When do you think that might happen? Soon? Or next year maybe? Pep (Do you think it might reach Alaska or - gasp - Hawaii even?)

From: Allegria Kanto Hi Threadies, waving from my lurking corner.. Mo, i went to the store you mentioned in the Group chat tonight and bought out the place. What great bargains! I got several sweaters, some slacks and boots... Honey, I understand from CX that you became a Princess earlier tonight. Congratulations!! I decided to try my hand at building after seeing a house i liked that was no mod. There were some things i liked about it, but some things i wanted different, so I thought I'd try to build my own. For one thing, I wanted a skybox. So anyway, after a couple weeks, here is my very first build! I'll say one thing, building keeps you busy.. Allie! The skybox is beautiful! Congratulations. And that place Allie mentioned above: here's what I sent out to the Forum Cartel group chat window: [2008/12/09 19:19] Maureen Boccaccio: If any women are looking for non-prim turtleneck sweaters...lots of really nice colors...only 30L!!! http://slurl.com/secondlife/Hangflame%20Ridge/12/97/403

From: Maureen Boccaccio I am such a computer dope I had no idea that xyzzy was an all powerful magic word (until I just read up on it). Good morning Mo and thanks for the coffee and brunch (in my time zone). I first saw an allusion to xyzzy in a Sinclair Spectrum (Timex 1000 in the USA I believe) Hobbit game, but I didn't realise its provenance until recently either. It came into its own with me when I wanted to amaze work colleagues at how "psychic" I was at Minesweeper! Pep (Easily fooled colleagues - they worked for Arthur Andersen . . . )

I did, and I did. You all should know that I asked Kaimi if she would lengthen my all-time favorite skirt, one of Kaimi's pieces of handiwork. (It's the skirt in the 4th outfit from the left, in Kaimi's signature.)

From: Jesse Barnett Forum noob wanted to enforce rules on how replies should be, made ass of herself several times, decided to pick on HoneyBear, learned that it might not be a good idea to pick on HoneyBear because HoneyBear has a LOT of friends. Am I lucky, or what? I really have made some great friends in here. I don't know what the infant's issue is, but he/she/it needs to gtf over it :X I admit, I *lightly* struck first, but I struck because he (I say he, based on his inworld profile, but really, that means nothing) immediately started getting crappy because the thread didn't go the way he wanted it to and got insulting. I just won't stand still for that stuff.

From: Damien1 Thorne I don't think we have enough room for all the corrupt politicians. I guess I could reopen the hole beneath the dungeon for the overflow. Sounds like you need a copy of FD's toilet

Now that I've caught up, good morning everyone! It's a frosty 29 degrees in downtown Dallas this morning....brr...makes me wish I could stay in bed! But no, someone has to pay for my sim, so I'm here at the office Great shopping tips all! I may need to add another blogger because judging from the responses to the poll I put up...there aren't enough freebies! I think we put up more than anyone else, so this really confuses me...lol.

Wait...Princess Honey? Need pix...and the story please! @Damien...looks like you had a great night. A casual stroll along the top of the Great Wall...with the beautiful woman who has captured your heart? Where does a feller volunteer for that duty? Gah...52 and monsoon in Maine...29 and frost in Dallas. What is this crazy world coming to. I think some griefer rezzed a few weather machines in the wrong sims. Yup Yup.
