I've actually started reading a real, honest to goodness non audio book the other day. It's been a while.
I haven't had many days in my whole life that didn't include recreational reading. Most days I spent several hours reading.

Please remember that many of those "forests" are owned and were planted by wood/paper companies like Weyerhauser. The "forests" are single species stands of trees, designed to be harvested in 30 to 40 or more years. I see nothing wrong with this. I suppose mines are bad too?

I don't know these pretty old and I always thought they were a part of the Nature Reserve and a State Park. There are places in my area where less and less trees. It just makes me sad. I never lived or grew up in a mine so I don't know if it is bad or not.

I decided to try my hand at building after seeing a house i liked that was no mod. There were some things i liked about it, but some things i wanted different, so I thought I'd try to build my own. For one thing, I wanted a skybox.

So anyway, after a couple weeks, here is my very first build!

Good morning Mo and thanks for the coffee and brunch (in my time zone).

I first saw an allusion to xyzzy in a Sinclair Spectrum (Timex 1000 in the USA I believe) Hobbit game, but I didn't realise its provenance until recently either.

It came into its own with me when I wanted to amaze work colleagues at how "psychic" I was at Minesweeper!

You all should know that I asked Kaimi if she would lengthen my all-time favorite skirt, one of Kaimi's pieces of handiwork. :) (It's the skirt in the 4th outfit from the left, in Kaimi's signature.)

Now that I've caught up, good morning everyone!

It's a frosty 29 degrees in downtown Dallas this morning....brr...makes me wish I could stay in bed! But no, someone has to pay for my sim, so I'm here at the office :(

Great shopping tips all! I may need to add another blogger because judging from the responses to the poll I put up...there aren't enough freebies! I think we put up more than anyone else, so this really confuses me...lol.

@Damien...looks like you had a great night. A casual stroll along the top of the Great Wall...with the beautiful woman who has captured your heart? Where does a feller volunteer for that duty? :)

Gah...52 and monsoon in Maine...29 and frost in Dallas. What is this crazy world coming to. I think some griefer rezzed a few weather machines in the wrong sims. Yup Yup.

Tiny Empires Jer...I made Princess last night, which has been my goal for 3 months...woohoo!

No pix yet, but I did run around last night wearing my crown and I have a bright shiny new tag that says Princess of Insanity (the kingdom I'm in...kind of fitting, eh?)
