OH NO...not Raffi!!!

/me cringes
Per Wikipedia: Once called “the most popular children’s singer in the English-speaking world” (Washington Post, May 31, 1992)

Luckily I have never heard or heard of him. Another good thing about the "cultural" barrier called the Atlantic Ocean. If only the barrier to Australian "culture" was as effective!

I had to sit for 10 minutes in the car this morning while it de-iced itself before we could see out the windows. Then I almost slipped on the way back home.
I don't like ice :(

Sorry Jerry - that would only remind me of five year's worth of Los Angeles vacations which usually included a Lakers title but which all included romantic evenings at the Hollywood Bowl listening to Kenny G compered by Bill Cosby.

Yep...that would have been his...ahem...heyday.j

And here I would have thought you'da been in LA, enjoying Lakers victories to the sounds of the Dave Brubeck quartet. (Paul Desmond's alto having a tone light years above KG's soprano).

Pep, do you guys have comedy clubs there?

we had one (now thankfully closed) that had the hosts operating it like a musical. it was awful.

I think we invented them back in the late 70s. They survive still.

Pep (I provided a friend with some of his material - he emigrated to LA and did stand up at a few of the amateur clubs there too))
