:( Bummer, Lil! /me sends you a hug and good vibes in hopes you can get it done in 4 hours instead of 8.
I'm biting the bullet and after unwinding with the forums a bit, I have logged back in to work to try and finish it this evening so that my long weekend will be all mine.

/me wanders off for a bottle of wine to help make the work more pleasant
:D

You are going to have to be a little plainer than that...

If it is the one on LCO, I think it was deleted.

Actually kind of surprised because it was a walking billboard advertisement for SL. All posts came to the conclusion that SL is better then anything else out there right now.

Regardless of how good a competitor is I doubt many forums of most companies would permit discussion of a competitors product as a comparison without locking the threads.

You are in our prayers Marianne. Best wishes and here is hoping your next job is better then the one you had!

I am surprised that the call for legal action thread is still up. The first one was taken down within a couple of hours.

But O well, I just know that it is me and puppy dog tomorrow and the only house guests will be a 12lb turkey, stuffing, cranberries, gravy, pumpkin cheesecake (already started on it!) and a bottle of wine. That plus 4 glorious days off and my daughter for other 3 days and I am one happy camper. Puppy dog must have a clue because I detect a twinkle in her eyes.

Oh no, Mari!! I hope you find a new borin' place soon. From what I read in another forum I frequent, you're not alone.

Actually so am I, I so wanted to post there and tell them that they were on shakey ground but held my tongue. Maybe they figure if legal action was forthcoming it would be better for them to have allowed it. Who knows for sure.

In NZ we don't have any thing like Thanksgiving so it's just an ordinary week for me.

It doesn't translate well to TV except for the spreads on the table but it goes like this:

Eat until you are absolutely stuffed, lay down and fall asleep while pretending to watch tv (football if you are a guy), wake up and eat some more, repeat cycle throughout the day. It is a generally accepted belief that diets don't apply for this one day of the year (even though it may take 11 months to make up for it :D ).

Well not sure I could keep up with that hectic schedule but having the time off would be welcome :D

I haven't yet. :D I think that thread actually was in LL's best interest to leave up. It hardly said "Run to X grid because it is better then SL". What do I know though?

Oh, and Ashe! Thanks for the welcome a few pages back. I forgot to say that.

I am so sorry to hear that. :( More and more the pool of people I know that are working vs. those that are not is getting tighter in the race. We are in some seriously scary times right now.
