RE Claire's siggy: like most theoretical devices there is a simple and provable flaw in this device. Even if the suggested output could be obtained, which it's never been proven either way. This is because the amount of energy necessary to input in order to successfully attach buttered toast to a cat is prohibitive.

lol, I like toast. I like cats. I searched for a pic of toast and came up with that one, so thought I'd use it.

I only have Thursday off this week.

I only have Thursday off 1st of year week.

This is why you work for a school district:

I have Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off this week.

I am off from December 20th through January 4th, with the single exception of December 30th.

I am also off for a week in March, and none of this affects my salary or vacation days.

They did do a good job on casting. I'm going to try to see it on it's own merits. The Original was 40 years ago, produced on a shoestring budget, with primitive special effects. There really is no way to compare. I'm avoiding any trailers and general previews as much as possible , trying to keep an open mind on it. As long as it stays true to the overall spirit of the show, and is entertaining, I'll be fine with it.
