I am very happy to see how amazingly hideous that dress can look on Mac's shapely form-

Yeah, he just doesn't have the rack to carry that outfit. He should work some on the sliders. :p

Hiya Maureen,

Please don't wait on me. I just spent 3 days out in the woods acting like a 20 year old. Now I'm moving at the speed of an 80 year olds trying to recover. Could be a few days until I'm back to full speed.

awwww...glad you had a good time, lol, but sorry to hear about the recovery!

/me sends Tex a gift card for a house call by a masseuse...

Hey there!! I hope the move went well. :)

Got your email, will write back as soon as I have some free time - up to the eyeballs in boxes, packing material, runs to various stores to p/u much needed junk, return junk which was wrong, etc. :D Let alone the heating system which wasn't working when we moved in - yikes  (it is patched together at the moment, and being totally repaired tomorrow). THAT'S a story to tell. Hope all is well with you!

Thanks everyone. I was going through stuff on my blog and found an old comment from Amara yesterday.. Maureen PMd me last night which led me to thinking about people one at a time and how much I missed them. I logged in here and read a page or two of this thread.. and thought "why am I not being around people I care about because I was (see that was) mad at LL for some stuff.

Most of you know where I have been when it comes to VRs. I am in pretty deep there but that made me miss SL. I expect to bring Mac in world much more and get back the magic I fell in love with in the first place in SL. Just not going to surround myself with the negatives about SL and LL (so the other area of the forums where the Lindens post is going to be a light read LOL) and see if that makes a difference.

Annnnnyway. 3, I did not know you were showing up over there even to see PMs. I have thought of everyone (some I saw over there but still missed lately.. Nekos, Vamps, witty people.. you know who you are. :D) I see there are new people too *waves* Good to be home.

But you all have been very freaking busy and I have a lot to read to catch up. OOOOOOR a reader's digest version could work if someone is willing. :P

Thanks for the welcome back, everyone. I have a bunch of videos and bottled up sarcasm and joking to dispense with. :D

While you were gone: Various breakfasts; melodious posts from Yosef and Jerboa; Elora & Ghosty's move and the neat stories the place can tell; Upset people; Happy people; Lot's of new faces, old rants and silly jokes; Many pictures of places in Sl and several lol cats- over all, just your typical Threadsville. Love you Mac- so glad you are back :D

It's good to have you back, Mac.

And I may be picking your brain about some of the other grids where you've been playing, since my partner and I may want to move our island to another (less absurdly expensive) playground.

Thanks!! Great recap. And love you too and thanks for the welcome. Glad to be back.

Remember, it is not the ones that say they are leaving that stay gone.. it is the ones that never say it and you just don't see around anymore. :D

Thanks, Roisin. Great to see you.

Feel free to PM me and I will be happy to share all I know about the others and lots of study has been done by me.

At the end of the day though as wonky as it gets SL is still the most stable and populated and established. ;) But yes.. there are good prices out there.

I was super sad because I posted a bit too late and you had gone to bed. :( But thanks.. I know we talk out and about but something about the thread makes it feel more like it should. lol. Does that make sense?

Oh, we're not looking at leaving SL. But we created our little tropical paradise on an OS sim in SL, and I doubt we can afford to keep it. (We'll probably move to one of our mainland parcels and give LL less of our money.) It'd be nice to rebuild it elsewhere, maybe even on our own server.
