G'mornin, thread!

So I actually took part of last week off from th' borin place, but then I also ended up bein sick during that time. Still, I did a lotta fun stuff, an so I'm gonna share like I tend t'do. :-)

First off, this mess of peoples:

This was th' rez day party f'r Savannah Glimmer, Gellan Glenelg and Colton Linden. Mostly cuz of th' last person I named, this party was jes swarmin' with Lindens. In attendance that I saw were Blue, Dusty, Plexus, Socrates, Joppa, Colton, Rodney, CG, Sejong, Oskar, Bambers, an Nicole, as well as many well-known residents (way too many f'r me to even begin to list - everybuggy who showed up I was like "wow, it's ____."

At HardKnock Academy on Friday, we had our Thanksgiving play, all about the mayflower an pilgrims an stuff. Here's a piccie from it, Prob'ly not too much t'look at, but th' play was super anyways.

I also started to get stuff ready t'put into the next art show contesty thing in Grignano. Here's one f my entries. This was so fun t'do, an features my brother Pygar, my cousin AnnieLaurie, an me.

(Large size at http://www.flickr.com/photos/marianne-mccann/3048742472/ )

I also spent a lotta time jes exploring, hunting f'r kinda sorta hidden stuff like the old Ben Linden "Hint Balls" (found three!), an stumbled across some dinosaur bone things that Torley left on an island an stuff. Also found a copy of Altruima Linden's bear which I never got but wish I had.

I also rode on a dragon that was my sister, made a TON of pastries with friends at 7 Days Magical Bakery (ya gotta check that place out!), an did a buncha other stuff. :-)

An that's it!

/me smiles happily, now that I've seen what Mari's been up to over the weekend. :)

Great pics, as always!

Knowing rodents though, I'm pretty sure that teddy bear lost his head shortly after the pic was taken.

I suspect it's a photoshop job.

What a wonderful picture! I can almost see the three of you laughing, and joking as you're washing the cars.

The only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys.

Why is it boys get to play with the hose, they are not known for their good aim. ;)

I have a few of those toys myself. Boys don't get to have all of the fun now-a-days.. Making sawdust is one of my favorite things to do.

Oh I love the smell of carpentry. I wish I would have taken some Wood Shop in High School. As it is, I buy a lot of unfinished furniture from a shop near me and love finishing it. I have restored a few old pieces as well.

Yes, I have a few projects on deck to complete. I've got two chairs I want to refinish as well as a corner cabinet.

I love that smell. I'm just no good at capentry type stuff lol. Not that I ever got a chance. I think I've only ever worked with wood once, for an hour, at school, and the teacher handed us all practically ready made stuff to stick together to make a penguin thing.
Oh, and the electrics i put in it started to smoke, so we nick-named him Smokey the Penguin lol.

Play with prims. It's much safer...I think.

RE Claire's siggy: like most theoretical devices there is a simple and provable flaw in this device. Even if the suggested output could be obtained, which it's never been proven either way. This is because the amount of energy necessary to input in order to successfully attach buttered toast to a cat is prohibitive.
