I have heard if you have 1000 posts or more then you are part of a clique.

I better stop while I can ...
me/ sees Yosef tottering on the brink and is sorely tempted to give him a little nudge.

Congrats to this thread for having the most views of any thread in the recent history of RA including stickied threads!

And congrats to Yosef on post 1000. Now you can learn the evil truth about the clique: I am the only member. :(

Mornin Kaimi!.

Trouts ashamed of me. Cougar cookies still rule :P
/me sneaks a box into Amaranthim's care package.

:D I'm not really ashamed. I've even pulled for the Cougars a few times in the Apple Cup. OK - off to find some Cougar Cookies to add to the Great Cultural Exchange Care Package.

This is actually one of the most fun things I've done here. Amaranthim has told me some of the things she's putting in my pack and it's stuff that just doesn't exist in this corner of the country, and I'm rediscovering the NW as I'm collecting things for her pack. It's great how we are in the same nation, yet our experiences are so different. This is the sort of thing that SL is very good for - it brings people together who would normally never meet.

It's nice to know we still have some regional differences and we aren't all just experiencing the same Mac Everything yet.

Lol San Diego seems to be full of Chicagoans complaining that they can't get the food they like here. (and restaurants claiming to serve authentic Chicago fair) Anytime the Cubs come to town Padres fans seem to be seriously outnumbers in the stands.

One time (years ago now) when Chicago was playing they had base ball shaped transistor radio give away night. The Cubs fans threw most of them onto the field and it was kind of a mess.

Cubs must have been playing to their usual choaky standards that season!

I thought the best place was the Chicago Pizza Factory, or is that just in London?

…well actually, it was a good place to go in the late 80s, it probably doesn't exist now!

believe me, it's not (or wasn't, if it is now defunct) fit to lick Giordano's boots. It would be like comparing the fare from the local Wimpy with something Heston Blumenthal would create at his most inspired.
