And to think: the geoduck is the official mascot of Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington:

That place is a disaster.

GEODUCK:

It would freak just about anyone out.

The reason that we get so much email spam is that there is a tiny 0.0000001% of the spammed that actually buy the stuff.
This makes the whole spam industry a profitable business.

I detest people who buy anything advertised in unsolicited bulk email (spam).
They are the lowest of the low. Pond scum pees on them. Their buying the stuff ensures that we will continue be spammed to hell and back forever.

Greedy people get ripped off by Nigerian 419s and their variants.
People who buy stuff to make their penises bigger almost certainly get disappointed.
Wanna make it bigger asshole?? Hit it with a hammer. It really gets bigger!!!

Oh but sweet lord!!
What if they got geoduck????
What if whatever they bought, if they actually got it, actually did make their penises bigger???
How wonderful!!

So much justice :)

Brilliant!!!!

I had never heard of a Geoduck before. What a strange and fascinating organism. I wonder if they taste good with a little butter and garlic.

What a long, miserable day it's been... It's cold and wet outside. I can't wait till this week is over.

I'm losing steam. What's on the dinner menu this evening?
With all the talk about Pacific Northwest food earlier, I now have a craving for smoked salmon chowder from Ivar's in Seattle. (KEEP CL∀M)

But I'm not going to be in Seattle anytime soon so I'll have to settle for clam chowder in a bread bowl.

/me smiles

I know. I'm just in a wierd assed mood today.

Can you believe they actually expected me to WORK this morning? I only said I wanted a job, I never said anything about working.

Actually .....
I mentioned I'll be going to Canada in May. Flying out on the 9th and coming back on the 26th.
My son graduates college on the 10th
My daughter turns 15 on the 25th
And of course my 3 day weekend is for Memorial day is screwed.
Sorry, I'm just feeling miffed and it shows. Even my attempts at humor are bleak.

I'm really sorry you'll be missing you son's graduation, but I'd be over the top if my son had graduated, whether I was able to be there or not... Don't mean to sound self-righteous... just there are worse alternatives...

:)

Oh that does look yummy. I changed my mind. I want chowder for dinner. Maybe a nice mixed mesclun salad on the side.

They can be a little tough. They work really well in chowders if you chop them finely. I suppose if you diced them up, sauted them in butter and garlic and maybe used them in a sauce for pasta, that would work really well.

It's hard to get over the look of them, though. Giant, fishy smelling horse penises. They're just weird. I would, of cours, never include one in a care package. Can you imagine the stench when it got wherever it was going? 7 pounds of rotten clam meat. Bleah.

I'll be including stuff in the care pack that isn't perishable.

This has the makings of the longest lasting thread in the whole universe.

The start of such a thread, that is, it's not long enough yet to have the makings of the longest thread in the whole world, unless maybe you stretched it out a lot.

Maybe run it through a calendaring machine a few thousand times.

Wow, Sue must be able to see the future!

Trout- I will be including some canned goodies that of course won't be as awesome as the real thing - but a start at least...

Let's see ... so far on my list is:

Bahia Mojo - that is Cuban style bbq sauce sort of- it is a general seasoning involving besides spices, bitter orange... maybe a bottle of bitter orange too - used on meat.. ok - canned yuca (casava) cause I am not sure how long the actual tubers would last in route- maybe if I over night it- lets see how big it gets first.

hmm- Would love to send green plantains but I know that wouldn't make it... Ooh! Bacalao - hehe - salted cod fish - that could be interesting : same for tasajo - salted meat - used to be made from horse but USDA you know - hehe
Will send normal stuff too- don't want to freak you out too much! Oh man- Goya Tembleque- a coconut dessert that shakes like jello...

woohoo - this is fun :)

Edited to make up for radical typos :)
