Maybe I should send her a geoduck. That would freak her out. Hell, they freak me out and I've lived here over 20 years.

Yikes! That would freak me out too!

i think you may have missed the point- but don't worry.

/me smiles

I know. I'm just in a wierd assed mood today.

Can you believe they actually expected me to WORK this morning? I only said I wanted a job, I never said anything about working.

Actually .....
I mentioned I'll be going to Canada in May. Flying out on the 9th and coming back on the 26th.
My son graduates college on the 10th
My daughter turns 15 on the 25th
And of course my 3 day weekend is for Memorial day is screwed.
Sorry, I'm just feeling miffed and it shows. Even my attempts at humor are bleak.

OK. I have the mental image of Al Gore, wearing slave silks, while riding a sandworm, embedded in my brain from another thread. And now? Al Gore is singing Claire's theme song!

I will need a great deal of goofing around tonight in SL to recover from today's threads.:)

You know, that's the future of our earth people, if we don't start conserving NOW :p

Thanks for ruining the ending. next you'll tell my that Darth Vadar is Luke's father and that the Planet of the Apes in actually Planet Earth.

You damn dirty ape!

Let's see - to catch up on this thread - Spanakopita is absolutely delicious. Kaimi's picture made me drool.

I thought I had the lock on Indiana Jones in these threads.

Mildly irritated that I got run out of the forums for off-topic posting and there have been no complaints in this one, and, in fact, participation from some of the people who made me want to leave...on the other hand, I'm glad I'm back.

I'd really like to know what the intial post was before it got deleted, if for nothing else than that it is a piece of RA history now. I want to include this thread in my Second Life coffee table book.

Her picture has that effect on me too. At least the picture on the left under her name does :)

lol I deleted it before anyone had a chance to see it (I was having issues with the website, restarted firefox and everything worked, so I tried to delete the thread but the delete option was gone so I removed my post and renamed the thread thinking it would just slip away)

boy was I wrong LOL

these nuts will do anything to keep this poor thread alive...

*sniff*
you guys really do care!

:P

(has been rather fun and informative reading though)

Yes, I had been wondering about it as well, and was informed that Rhaorth had provided a re-hash (not to be confused with the corned beef hash seen earlier in this thread) some pages back.

if i were to take a wild guess, I would say 65,536 would be the post to crash it.
I mentioned a while ago (probably about 100 pages back) that I used to post on another site that had a thread of over 13,000 pages. That's almost 200,000 posts before it finally crashed.

I think the reason that thread was created was to keep all of the off-topic craziness confined to one area so it didn't spread all over the rest of the forums. It seems like the same thing is happening here. Maybe that's why this thread hasn't been locked. It's actually serving a useful purpose.

Geoducks - I watch a lot of the food channel so i had seen them before- and I think Mike (ooh Mike {Mike as the naked Chef}) of Dirty Jobs did a stint digging them up too.

Yosef- all kidding aside - congrats for the awesome stuff- like the graduation- :( sorry for the downers like missing the time off -

...But I think Blade runner is my favorite Harrison Ford movie. I probably saw it 5 times before I finally caught on that he was an android too....

He WAS? I gotta go watch that again...
