Is this a good example of a typical greifer in any country? :D

Griefer?

Surely this the average SL user when the grid problems get really bad.

C'mon. You know you've screamed at the thing once in a while.

LOL! True true.

Gee, don't know why you never see Linden Lab employees in-world or in the forums ;)

I just experimented with this, but you evidently can't do it to yourself. Deleting the object just causes me to stand. But I am intrigued. It would be nice to build a griefer trap door device like the kind in old cartoons. Or maybe you could coax them into sitting on something (by a big show of trying to concentrate on it) and then just set the z coordinates to about 600? That would be fun. No orbiting, no AR's. Just "Ooops!" -- KC

Protest that you want them off the object, a lot and loudly? I simply told him to take it to the combat sandboxes, for example and to stop shooting at the others. He decided to sit on the throne... to which I hadn't attached the seat cushion yet. It unseated him, oh yes... a few feet into air and to the left with a "WTF?!!!"

I don't know if it's consistent and like you, I did try it on myself afterwards. Hmm.. but the Z axis thing might be just as fun. Nothing like seeing a plummet to brighten anyone's day!

Raudf Fox has the right idea. If they bother you so much, just give them grief back. Whining about it and doing nothing about it is getting you nowhere. I used to get griefed and stalked, and reports didn't do anything. Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands. Beat em or join em I guess. Sometimes, I even personally find some of them entertaining and creative. I think some people just take this game too seriously, like the thread starter. Though I don't know the whole situation, but what can really be that bad? Did they ruin some event you were running or what?

I'm fond of Psyke's orbs. I have one sitting at the landing point of my group's meeting place in plain sight. It's set to teleport home, so anyone being a pain soon just disappears. Sweeeet.

When out and about, it's of course a different story. Being able to forget about griefers, when I'm working on group related IMs or building, is a primary reason I own some land.
