my partner .... never once does he gush on about me. More seriously: why are you letting all these picky things about other people's speech or habits bother you? And why are you bothering us about your anxieties? Maybe SL is not for you, maybe you need an environment where you are mostly in the company of people who more resemble you. Most folks run their real lives exactly like that. . _____________________

I think Bradley and Raymond are offline so I think I can slip a question in without them knowing I have been here. Wow, Mum, is that you? Seriously, Brenda, I am sorry if I rattle your cage. It is just me. My personality is really like this and my occupation expects me to be smart-ass and controversial. I can't help it. Just turn me off if you dont like my questions. I really don't wanna upset you THAT much. Cut the shit already. _____________________

Pretty much nothing really gets to me in these forums, usually. However, Jig, you really really need to get a life away from anything SL related for a while. And that is said with the kindest intentions.

To me, these Jig threads are comic relief. I suggest we lighten up. It's not like she's orbiting them, after all.
That said, in this matter, mute should be her friend; ignore as needed should be ours. |

From the "Read this First" sticky regarding Resident Answers: * You can ask about stuff like ways to earn L$, land management tips, and newcomer questions if you're new to Second Life!
From the General Forum Guidelines: "Post in appropriate places, for appropriate reasons – The forums are split into separate topics. Please do not post discussions into forums that are clearly designed for other discussions." In case you were wondering, this excludes the topics you are bringing up in all the threads you are starting, Jig. Take it to SLUniverse.com. You can say anything you want there. _____________________

Stop The Madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this really your mission in life? To be a self important, judgemental little twit, who has nothing better to do than annoy and look down on people? The routine was funny for awhile but it's getting old, even for me. Grow up. Where is the THANK YOU button when you need it.... |

They were far more entertaining once upon a time and many of the more recent ones could still be comic relief it they were spaced out more. Now I just feel like I'm listening to a child constantly yelling "mommy, mommy, watch this".

There's no reason why Linden Lab should spend money on this forum if this is the content it is going to have.
Putting people on ignore makes the forum display ugly, draws attention to the person you want to ignore by pointing out that it is hiding something from them, doesn't stop you from seeing the numerous repeated complete quotes of lengthy posts that people make for no apparent reason, doesn't stop support request thread from being pushed back into the realm of not seen and not answered posts, and doesn't stop support requests from being dereailed by the frequent disruptively offtopic comments that are viewed as desirable comments from those who want to use a support forum as their personal chatroom. A support forum doesn't make a good chat room, and a chat room doesn't make a good support forum. There are folks complaining about this thread that violate the forum rules every day multiple times. Some folks might want to consider the use of third party forums for chat rooms, or use actual chat rooms, such as an MSN Second Life group and IM clients. Regarding the question in the original post, for permission to shoot a store's customers, the OP should ask the parcel owner to set damage on and to be allowed to shoot customers. _____________________

Unfortunately, putting people on ignore doesn't make the threads themselves disappear.
This childish, self-centered behavior has to stop. For someone so "precocious" you fail to see that your emotional immaturity is becoming a hindrance to the community here and to yourself. Maybe when people start ignoring you 100% of the time and stop replying to your inane posts will you realize that you've gone too far. But then you will probably look down your nose at everyone and blame us for being closed-minded, when you are the judgmental one that expects everyone to be just like you. Maybe the question is, can we shoot you to the point where you are killed in the game and you leave SL? _____________________

My personality is really like this and my occupation expects me to be smart-ass and controversial. I can't help it. Wait a minute. You're really Rush Limbaugh? *When LL stops hosting the website through the local Dollar Store and fixes 503, someone shoot off a flare. Actually, I think it is a reasonable question - I think the sl world would be better off without the playschool attitudes that some partnerships and freidnships decline into. Eventually the habit of playing in this world like Dick and Jane makes this place a suburban nightmare. So much crumbles here because many people don't accept that NO ONE ever calls the partner "hubby" in reality. Sl needs a touch of that just to keep afloat. Reality, that is. And I am not mad, thank you. Simply curious. I really am. I should add that my partner is a charming individual who keeps me in check and never once does he gush on about me. i dont know what small narrowminded boring place your from but jeez i use the word hubby and brat all the time in RL my cousin does the same when we talk about our hubbies most people i know say hubby i dont understand what is wrong with it and when my HUBBY is acting like a BRAT i tell him to quit acting like a BRAT maybe you should take a look in the mirror before judging others _____________________

Hamlet III, ii, 121-122 Without citing an edition, consistant identification of an obscure quote by line number in a scene with prose is a pretty sketchy buisness. I checked two different editions, in one it makes no sense at all and in the other...well...that is not a very nice portrayal of your mother. _____________________

For the sake of irony I would like to note that the main antagonist of Snow Crash had the words "Poor Impulse Control" tattooed on his forehead as punishment for his lack of ability to restrain himself.

I checked two different editions, in one it makes no sense at all and in the other...well...that is not a very nice portrayal of your mother. Unless you are looking at a pirated Edinburgh edition of around 1740, Act III, Scene Two is pretty much in the same place it has always been. And as you know your "Hamlet", you also know that it is the Prince lying his head upon Ophelia's lap and referring to himself as the clown, which resonates with his relationship with Yorick. "No I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be ..." But am very, very interested in today's reactions. I meant to add humour when everyone takes themselves too seriously. Ah, well - real calls. I answer. I promise I wont disturb again. Promise. _____________________
