I'm no doctor but I believe I hit a nerve. I never asked for any explanations, just stating the obvious. Do I care? Nope. But it does feel kind of nice to see peoples reaction to comments they feel is about them.

Yes, I admit this thread has boosted my ego. I needed it. It's been a rough busy few days.

I was really fried hard this week. It's all very well to wear diamonds on the soles of your shoes but its a hard grind to keep a smile on your face.

I am an attention-whore but worth every penny. I am told that most restaurants who know me cringe at the thought of seating me (and my friend who hovers by my side most of the time) because we frighten and disturb the other customers. Sometimes I feel like Richard III coz when he was in the street,dogs barked at him. This week I was told I was an incarnated demon by a "christian lady" who followed me into an elevator. She said I was the reason she couldnt sleep at night. I made it to the 6th floor with this madwoman and then managed to escape. I also - seriously - gave a nice supper to a very old lady who is very very ill with bone cancer (it's no excuse to be smart-assed, but sometimes I do get low thinking of that situation) - she is 81 and the restuarant allowed me to bring Pugwash down to join us. He's a dog. Not mine. My friend's. I am taking care of it. She ended up feeding Pugwash at the table.

I wanted to really get involved here and snap repartee on this thread which is such a sweet gift from Smith Peel. I really mean that, Smith. It's very very kind but today I was frightfully busy, guarding and defending another friend from a powerful person.

So. I'd like to accept this award knowing that you lovely people all voted for me. )
