Putting it on now...Just looking for a shoe or boot to wear with it.

ETA: just before i left your store Yummy, 2 people came in - i assume one brought the other because her first words were:

Good Job Yummy!

LOL

I always thought somebody should make a freebie attachment that resembles the baby "chest burster" from the original Alien movie.

Awww no worries. It's obvious she's got game, but I don't think she gets mean unless freenis or elf insults are involved ;)

Lol yes.
Actually, I have an exploding head attachment that I've used on occasion.
"It's too big.. omg!"
"TOO BIG!!"
"it's too..."
BLAM, I activate it and my head explodes in a big bloody mess.
Pretty much priceless imagining the expression on their face. :D

Me too

I am female RL and I have quite a few alts. All my female alts get hit on constantly and have a lot of friends.

My gay male alt is pretty cute so in gay circles he is very popular.

My second male alt does not state his 'orientation' and although very handsome, he has no SL friends and ends up being lonely most of the time (although if anyone asks...he will only admit to being dark & brooding; never lonely!)

The first time I played as a male I felt immediately disconnected from everyone. There were no friendly "hi's", no offers of help, no chit-chat.

Each of my alts have a different personality, which are all greatly exaggerated facets of my own. I do say things in one alt that I would never dream of saying in another. There are sims I would never step foot in with my main but will gladly explore with one of my more adventurous alts.

When it comes down to it, I prefer to play as a female.

It really does take more effort to be a man and if you're shy, well...SL might just suck :(

I made a female alt to test some panties and shapes I made, and let me tell you, no matter how remote a place you find to stand around naked (or half-naked) as a chick, within a few minutes a guy will be standing right up behind you and just say, "hi." As I have said before, all guys should be required to do this exercise in order to gain perspective on how creepy we can be.

Hmm, that's the only characteristic that I haven't given any of my male alts. perhaps I need to do things like that to be more believable as a man.

I'm usually not approached AT ALL when I'm out as my male alt, even though I've taken pains to make him look somewhat different from your usual SL male.

(Get this, though - I made the basic shape when I was new, and at that time most of the male shapes I'd seen were somewhat slim, so I decided to make him a big, burly guy. Except... I wasn't hip to the 'maxing out the height slider' thing. So even though he looked HUGE to me after my female shape, he's actually somewhat small when compared to most SL guys. Oh, well. I also made him more barrel-shaped than triangular, and his face is somewhat rugged.)

The only time I can remember being approached were at the old Caribbean Breezes, two years ago. He was IMed by a female avatar who was about to log off, but wanted to share her amusement about something she read in his profile...

Usually I'm ignored (unless I start a conversation) when I'm out roaming on my own, but the other day I had to go home and change in order to get some texture shopping done, because everywhere I went people were commenting on my outfit. (Good comments, like 'I like your outfit, Nic,' not sexual advances.) What was I wearing? A tintable poodle skirt and saddle shoes... go figure.

Sad, isnt it? I guess I will never complain about being a woman again. I have to say, I feel very sorry for the men now. It is a lonely world!! And I also wonder the same, is the real world this lonely for men?
I don't find RL or SL lonely. But then, I enjoy being outgoing, most of the time.

I know you said 'in general' and these are all personal experiences. I don't know that a scientific study of gender-based experiences/differences even exists, for SL (or even RL on a large scale.)

But, I can say that I do say hi to almost everyone, and if I don't it's usually because I have too many IM open or am shopping or surfing the 'net or other things like that.
Bless your sweet soul. :) And fortunately, you're not alone.

BTW, I have to admit that I interact a lot more with women than with men, in SL.

Actually, that's the case in RL as well. At a gathering, I'm more likely to be found in the kitchen chatting with the ladies than in the den talking sports with the guys.

Of course, if a subject comes up that I'm interested in, gender doesn't matter. I'm interested in lots of different things.

I did create a male alt some time before for no reason at all, havent logged on with him for quite some time now. At one point i thought it was funny the partnering option in sl, and contemplated the idea of finding a partner just for fun, but gave up the idea when i started realizing how seriously ppl take the relationships in sl, didnt want to hurt anyone with him.

Must confess I've just made myself a male AV and he's damned hot!!! If I could I would drag my ALT with me and show him to ever over muscles, tanned hairy neanerthal and say "look like that and you may get some" (my alt is slim, pale with boyish face he's also an emo).

On a serious side or as serious as I ever get in SL he is completely ignored. I can sit in a Sandbox for hours and not be bothered, wander through the shops unmolested and navel gaze in the sky without being buzzed. Poor Sods dead lonely maybe I should get a smile AO for him.

On another serious side if he was approached by someone in a sexual way do I tell them? What would you do?

Same thing we as women in RL learn to do early on - be polite, be civil (as long as they are, of course) but do not encourage. And make a quick exit if need be. lol
