well, a few weeks after i started, i was playing SL on my pc in the dream, then all the sudden i was literaly pulled into my computer screen, and i looked aroud nto relize i WAS my avatar, i was freaked out then i woke up when we had a greifer
you know you have been on sl to much when you see kids throwing baseballs around and they accidently break windows, and you think "damn greifers" XD

The worst of it was when One of my girls was hurt badly in a car accident (RL). I had nightmares for weeks afterwards. But always it's the SL world, But looking like RL. Building, Flying, socializing, All of it.
Angel. Of all the things I hate about SL, the thing I hate the most is not being able to reach out in RL and help the people I care about. I sure hope your girl recovered well and is doing okay now. It's fascinating the way our brains are mapping SL to RL. I have been very immersed, so I thought I'd finally "dream in SL" but it hasn't happened, just the RL lookalike approximation like you describe here. |
