Since it was taped from May, could it have been SL imitating life?
Nahhh. We saw that outfit long before May in SL. It all comes back around, again.

Ohhh I love little cardigans, especially Jacquard prints.
You think that's bad, I dreamt all my underwear was stolen, and wound up for sale on some second rate website......

Bilbo:She got quite a bump on the head -- we kinda thought there for a minute she was going to leave us.

Trout: Oh

Brenda: But I did leave you, Bilbo -- that's just the trouble. And I tried to get back for days and days.

Oryx: There, there, lie quiet now. You just had a bad dream.

Brenda: No......

Chris: Sure -- remember me -- your old pal, Chris?

Figtree: And me, Figtree?

Har: You couldn't forget my face, could you?

Brenda; No. But it wasn't a dream -- it was a place. And you -- and you -- and you -- and you were there.

Trout: Oh

Brenda: But you couldn't have been, could you?

Oryx: Oh, we dream lots of silly things when we --

Brenda:No, Oryx -- this was a real, truly live place. And I remember that some of it wasn't very nice.......but most of it was beautiful. But just the same, all I kept saying to everybody was, I want to go home. And they sent me home.

Since this forum is for questions I'll make this a "do I spend too much time in SL?" thread...

Last night I had a dream that there was a place in RL where people were building reconstructions of their SL homes! It seemed really cool at the time... and didn't strike me as the slightest bit odd at all until I woke up and thought about it.

I need to get out more......

This is a great transference example. I love this type of cross-over dream. Did your dream ego partake in the construction as well? And if so, when you woke, for a brief moment were you eager to see your real life plot of SL land?

I'm an ARTIST damn it!

/me shows up three hours late and acts like a prima donna because his coffee isn't hot enough.

Seriously, I think I'm getting better at these. I'm shooting for the fine line between stupid and funny. So far I've erred on the side of stupid, but I'm dialing it in. My new motto is "Every good thread deserves Bombay TV."

We-ell, Sir Ian Holm made a valiant attempt at capturing me and there was ... some.. reasonable support from the others but I did feel my character could have done with a little more Errol Flynn. Well, we have to sometimes suffer others misconceptions ...

.. sorry .. what was that Brenda?

wrong movie? ... The Simpsons?!?!?!?

Last night me and my wife were watching an old video tape of the MTV movie awards from May that we hadn't gotten a chance to look at until now.

One of the females in one of the stage acts was wearing this skimpy platex/leathery looking strappy bondagy looking thing with the stilletto heels, and wearing the short cropped black hair with bangs.

My wife says, "Isn't that one of the bondage outfits from SL?", and I replied, "Yeah! It is!"

Is this life imitating art or art imitating SL?

whatever:P whee can i get that dress!!! :D

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Always. Not only that but I find myself thinking I should spin the camera around the corner in real life. Guess I'm nosey.

I also am constantly admiring "textures" everywhere I go.

LOL! I do the exact same thing!

*hugs*

Truly, I know the feeling...

When I dream of SL, it doesn't look like SL. Instead it looks like RL places that resemble the SL places I am dreaming about. It's as if my brain can more easily collage real life things together for a dream, than try to duplicate the cartoony look of SL.

There is a building near where I live with a gray blocky section such that, every time I go by it, I want to click on it and make the texture load.

While I can no longer say my time in SL has been wasted, it certainly has been costly on several levels. Now that I have met someone I am truly sweet on, it might be that something RL comes of it after all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)

I dream about my SL family frequently, the Odd thing is None of them look like SL Avatars, My Subconscious has assigned Each of them Real bodies, and faces, Yet i Know each of them by look, and souns of their Voice (I have never spoken to any of them using any form of audio technology)
The worst of it was when One of my girls was hurt badly in a car accident (RL). I had nightmares for weeks afterwards. But always it's the SL world, But looking like RL. Building, Flying, socializing, All of it.

Angel.
