Domicile, because I make places to live in. A subset of my range is called Primflints because they're lower in prims than you might expect for such large builds.

Some of these names are really clever! RBZ Design is not...but I couldn't think of anything so that's what it is. (RB are my initials with my partner's last name tacked on).

I held my first yard sale over a year ago (a "legit" one...not an ongoing one on rented land) to weed out nice transfer items from my inventory I no longer used. I rezzed a Mysti-box over my home and called it Czari`s Attic since it was over my home.
I had just begun taking building classes at the time so out of curiosity I set out one or two of my builds and priced them very low. I was AMAZED when people purchased them. When I decided to try my hand at a store, I liked the name *Czari`s Attic* for two reasons: (1) I had not narrowed down what type of item I enjoyed building and/or what I was good at so marketed the store as akin to searching through an attic, never knowing what you might find and (2) I liked the "nostalgic" feel the name evoked...at least in me. ![]() _____________________

There are so many interesting and clever store names in SL! Mine isn't one of them.
But it's catchy! coco _____________________

Talon Faire - It sounded nice to me. I suppose it givEs no clue as to what one would find there, though. But I am not changing it. Right now, one finds ladies' clothes, tattoos, jewerly home decore, garden stuff. - Odds and Ends

Bradley's Bamboo Bungalow
Pretty straight forward: I'm Bradley, My furniture is all made with bamboo or wicker and I use to have a little bungalow on the land. I took the bungalow out because I needed the prims. If I had to do it over again I would have left my name out and just had The Bamboo Bungalow. It would have allowed me to add more keywords in the title, which would likely show up better in search. _____________________

Whenever I see your name I wonder where Lolita Home Edition is. And if there's an upgrade option. Oh, Lolita Home is buggy and requires multiple service packs and constant reauthentication with the validation servers. You're better off just bringing the Pro edition home with you. |

The Mausoleum began (Oct. 2004) as a tribute to my folks who had passed away and I was still sort of grieving.
So thats why the name. We built a roman style build with pillars and underground crypt to house a store. We had fun blasting parts of it by setting some of the pillars to physical and watching them fall naturally to give it more of an ancient feel. Its evolved into more of a "Lemony Snicket" type of place since then and running The Mausoleum and friends have made it worthwhile. ![]() _____________________

My company is called 'Tin Teddy'
I wanted a name that fit these criteria: 1 - no one else using it, anywhere - heavy googling followed, hehe 2 - able to register tinteddy.com (which indeed I have) 3 - able to name my SL island Tin Teddy - ie, no one had that name or similar 4 - conjured up an image - a tin teddy is a thing which I could easily add to logos etc 5 - easy to say and spell - alliterates, very easy to spell! 6 - mixed the concepts of modern, shiny (tin) and old fashioned, cosy (teddy) It is an odd name, sure, but I love it ![]() I am registered as trading under than name for tax purposes etc, plus my paypal account and everything. and my email is ---- elgyfu@tinteddy.com _____________________

When I first started creating I called the stuff RRD (which stood for Rha Rha Designs, a lot of folks tended to call me RhaRha)
As I evolved so did my clothing quality, and I decided I needed a new name... so I brainstormed with a friend, and while we were thinking he typed in Rha! to get my attention (no voice then) and my reply was... That's it! So... it because Rha! Designs (because I do more than clothing) and the logo evolved as well, to what I use now. I am happy with it ![]() _____________________

The name of my store is Arctic Fire. An arctic fire is another name for a tundra fire. I sell mostly Alaskan, arctic and viking stuff so it seemed a fitting name.

Interesting thread, there are lots of creative names. I am not very good when it comes to thinking of names so it took me a long a while to come up with my store name. One night when I was not even thinking about the name it came to me while watching TV.
I came up with the name “ThisNThat” with the slogan A little of “ThisNThat” for everyone! Because the store I am in the process of opening will be selling a little of everything from cutom skins, clothing to houses. edit - BTW this is my first post here I have been here since Sept reading the forums but never posted till now. |

...the back of my neck tingled..that's always a sign that something is a fit for me..even when i'm shopping for clothes i don't really buy unless my neck tingles ... /me wonders whether it would be worthwhile to develop a Merchant's Cattle Prod for store owners to use when they see Ceka browsing the displays... _____________________

I haven't got a clever name. My business is called Ll-animations. At the time I became a Resident, there were very few animation stores and they were all called "something-animations" and I thought that that must be the accepted style in SL. I wouldn't have time to rebrand now, even if I could think of something original.

RoHo Gallery is mine, selling furniture and photographs. I'm not consistently good at coming up with clever names, so I just used the first two letters of my first and last names (kinda like SoHo or TriBeCa).

Lathe of Eber, because that's one of my favorite movies (the 1980's PBS version, not the A&E remake) and because I thought it would be catchy.
I've made a lot of stuff but the only commercial activity is the free textures I have downstairs with a tip jar out ... I'm been too busy with personal projects (and having a blast at them) to develop the business. |

My store is "Skyhook Station" because it used to be an orbiting space station at the top end of a skyhook, but it's kind of abstract now. The skyhook cable is still there.
I don't know if it counts as a business name, though. _____________________

Well my Victorian wallpaper texture business is called "Incwell Textures" - a nice old-fashioned play on words and my name.
Our estate is called the Isles of Fatima because when I bought the first one I called it Fatimas Love (i.e. me); the next was Fatimas Desire (err... that would be me again) - but after that I thought 'enough about me' and called them after Fatima's character (both RL and SL) - so Beauty, Smile, Glory etc etc. Still any number of people who think Fatima named them after herself lol - she's much more self-effacing than that. Her own business is called Antiques Artistry: pretty much everything antique and a lot of art involved in the making Inc _____________________

Blended Life is my WIP store, though it won't be finished for another 4 months, at least.
I chose the name because..well..it's descriptive. Most of my work I do in Blender. Plus..I like how it sounds >.> _____________________
