Alt personnas (Part 2)

One alt (me). Originally created Hate to be the alter-ego of Love Hastings. Doesn't matter why anymore. Point is, I'm probably going to put Hate to sleep pretty soon, and continue on as Love. So much for my Trout rating.

I have one basic, but I cannot find any information about how I can create a second basis, except there is a one time fee of $9.95 for each additional. but how do I do it. Thank you in advance

Seven residents total. Me and six alts, as Drivin Sideways is very much the same as me in FL.

There's also a big muscular guy who goes to the seedy side of town, which I never do.

I made a female Avi for some of the reasons mentioned: I wanted to experience the social stuff, and also to have a sweet butt to stare at when walking around instead of a muscle boy. I spent a lot of time making this femme look like my FL wife (when I was done I found her VERY exciting! more than any typical SL vixen. Women - is all that sweet or creepy? Please comment. I'll tell you what my wife's reaction was only/if I get some response here. ) Then I liked this femme so much that my main Alt wanted to marry her, so I birthed a new femme with the last name "Sideways", transferred my wife's likeness over to her and we got married.

Mrs Sideways and I live in luxury 600M up while the rest of them live on the ground. They dont' even have LMs to our house.

Then after creating Mrs. Sideways I still had the other femme, so she is now my girl-toy. (Women, please REFRAIN from commenting on this part) Can't do much except watch her, 'cause we're both never inworld simultaneously.

Then a couple of other Alts I made just because I had humorous impulses over names/avatars.

The one of which I'm most proud: Shortly after seeing a Centaur av I happened to notice the name "Horsforth" on the list. I now have a centaur with the name "WeCentaur Horsforth". He smokes a cigar and wear a shirt that says "I rode a pony". I find all that very amusing. He visits the Forum Cartel, BTW.

Hey, welcome to the forums! And here's a bit of good news: there is no longer a 9.95 fee for additional accounts (yes, I know, it still says that on the website somewhere, but that's obsolete). LL no longer asks for the 9.95 anywhere in the new account process.

To set up a new account, just hit "New Account" on the login screen, or do it via the website the same way you did it the first time. Last I heard there was a limit of 5 accounts per email address, but someone posted recently that even THAT is no longer true.

Just because "we sent our horse forth" is almost as good a name as "slartibartfast" I will whisper a question into your ear:

did you know it is possible to have more than one account logged in at once from the same computer?

if you didn't, and if you now do that, given who your alts are .... NOW it will be creepy.

I think it's sweet. I think I'd be weirded out though if my husband walked around looking like me. Like, "what are you DOING with me?"

Of course, the Av is young and unblemished which is true for NEITHER of us ... but that's the whole point of being here I think: "On the internet nobody knows you're a dog".

She may have been talking about the youth factor, but I believe she meant the shape/figure. I got the impression that she was flatered. At least, she gave a lil' Mona Lisa smile, which is the most smile I ever see.

I have that problem too, sometimes. But playing the alt's just not as much fun as being myself. MySLef? Hey, Alyx, I just coined a new word for you!

I have four alts. I rarely play them, and they don't have separate "lives" nor friends.

Alt #1) Created as my first alt, just to play around with. I play the opposite gender with alt #1. A lot of my friends know about #1. Originally thought I would use this alt for fun, but it is used mostly for testing, and rarely comes out.

#2) Created for spying. (Yes, spying.) Nobody knows about this alt. Rarely used anymore, I've moved beyond the need or desire to spy.

#3) Created in case I want to spend quiet alone time with my sweetie. But honestly have not used this alt much either. I just identify with my main AV too much, would rather play my main.

#4) This alt account, I created expressly for the purpose of posting on the forums. There are some things I might want to talk about that I may not want associated with my main AV.

I feel like I'm multiplying.....

Oh, my. A main and seven alts, but things are so fluid, roles are changing and some are falling by the wayside..

The first account, main (premium), is rarely seen any more. He's the banker, tier payer, land buyer. He formally interacts with some neighbors, but in almost all other ways, Cee has replaced him.

The original first alt (premium) is a female, created for the purpose of forming a land group, and for the other reasons men have already mentioned for creating their female alts. She had a clear role originally: the ingenue, but now is the slutty one. (Maybe I will seek a Trout rating - she deserves a 10.).

These two are still valuable for a lot of non-trans inventory and buildings.

As advertised, Cee is an alt. A pushy alt; he's treated like a main. Has now become the principal account, albeit basic. Cee is the av closest to me in RL.

Now the principal alt is Anny - Annonymous Writer, a beautiful black girl, quite dignified, if very sexy. She was created for a different viewpoint in several directions, but it was the availability of an outstanding skin which defined her.

The others are rarely used: a couple are nearly obsolete; some just didn't develop as expected. There's a replacement ingenue; another to use for testing perms; another for a future specialized project. A couple are brand new; created because irresistible names became available. They haven't been active yet, they're just being given their form and identity.

Some of this history involves names I ceased to like; some alts I gave skins and shapes I later regretted. It is just so easy to create a new alt, and so annoying to continuously work on one that no longer pleases.

Aswell as this character I have a lvl 62 Ork Shaman and a lvl 44 Night Elf Warlock.

And a dinosaur.
