If she's a mere dalliance then that's fine, but if she means more then I'm not sure I can live with the uncertainty..
Perhaps... just perhaps.. if you feel you can't let her go.. I may be persuaded to let her share our little potato bed.
Although space will be tight, so we'll have to take our jackets off and perhaps smear ourselves in butter.
It's your decision obviously.. but I have warmed the butter to body temperature just in case.. don't ask me how. It will have to be Olive Oil. I'm lactose intolerant. I'll have Jezz bring the garlic.

I think I am starting to like this Atticus person, despite a rocky beginning.
Anyone who can persuade the formidable Ms. Connolly into an arranged marriage, or even a dalliance, on such short acquaintance has definitely got something.
