Do you have any suggestions for The Linden Department of Public Works

The lindens just announced The Linden Department of Public Works.

Do you have any suggestions for them?

My suggestion is that there are 4 linden telehubs that are underwater, but plain. Make some sealabs or other underwater site for them.

My suggestion is to not build anything and to add lots more mainland to help reduce overcrowding, grief, lag, gray textures and poor frame rates.

A lack of land is forcing people to build right up against eachother with builds that don't compliment eachother. This more than anything results in one big fugly mainland.

Even the best builders in the universe couldn't save the mainland. If anything they'll just make it even worse.

I think they should do away with all the roads. All those poor little ad farmers are squeezed into those thin little strips. If they did away with the roads they could spread out and get some breathing room.



Seriously, though, the one thing they didn't mention was paving the roads and that's what I'd most like to see.

I wonder if it makes Phillip "super sad".

God these people need to hire a public spokesperson.

I would love to make some interesting, unique trails with flowers.

I want sewers and tunnels. No really. I like them.

Edit: And I want FD to make flowers. Pleeeeze!

A nice airfield with room to fly unmolested for more than 5 minutes.

Do not pass go. TP directly to Sarah Nerd's Nerdy Sanchez sim and stand on one of the manhole covers to get to the sewer.

Yes, they should hire robots.

Thanks I would love to do some " U" shaped prims paths with multi-textured faces with flowers on side, possible even benches on sides.
I hand painted flowers in signature.
My friend and I have done tunnels, sewers and caves too but none is in world now..
Was thinking about doing slime puddles before everything got returned.

That may have more to do with whom you go flying...

Yeah, but there's already two great sims that have those. sufferage something or other and that other one...what's it called. I like exploring the sewers in both of those.

Park and public areas on sims using abandoned property that doesn't use many prims.. cutting lag from the reduction of them.

Suffugium, yeah. I hang out there regularly. There are quite few actually. the other one I really like is in whatsitsname, One Thousand something.

They need to work on the waterways that connect the different bodies of water in the continents. Maybe do some widening.

And bulldoze the adfarms.

I think Mitch Kapor should have to build some stuff. A lot of stuff.

I was just looking at the coastlines of the newer contintents. They sold the waterways, so people are building in them. Opportunity lost.

Want to make SL an attractive place? Design it to be attractive. What can ten of LL's bestest buddies do with lipstick and bacon that is already fried?

I think Roads & Parks would be nice, clear the trees and bushes growing in existing roads, land and land on new contenents designed to be roads should become roads because land for parks can be brought later as LL own landbots found it. Because trying to buy land later for roads will be near impossible. People who brought land next to proposed roads could have brought blocks not next to roads if they wanted, indeed many brought there because they want roads, not parkland. Should be plenty of plots for parkland coming soon when Adfarms are squashed.
