From: annna Deed Wait- how did we get beggar from what is Xstreet? What did i miss?
This is pleasant to you!!!!???? I knew it was a question of misunderstanding- I am glad- i was referring to a prior post where the word beggar is mentioned- From: someone That's just the impression one gets from beggars I just did not know why if all you asked was, what is Xstreet, it sounded as if you were being called a beggar. So I apologize for the confusion my post caused- I was not calling you a beggr but asking how did asking about xstreet make you a beggar- see? Just a misunderstanding- so- if you can see that is what i did mean- we can try for tea

Well, it seems she thought I was calling her a beggar so i can see why she took affront - let's see if she realizes what I was referring to if she reads my post after her last one. Anyone can make a mistake and I do believe we have some language issues to work around. That said, Anna will need to understand also that language does play into it and give us the benefit as well as we, I hope, will give to her. Clear as mud? (I confuse me at times!)

;0 settle down children! :0 yes, even though you -should- be able to shop while offline, then log inworld later and have your products delivered... it has proven unreliable to do so! you should -only- shop while logged inworld, to be ready to receive your deliveries as they come. it is the safest way... even though it should consistently work the other way, it does not. :\ when it does, we'll harp a different tune. :0 if you do not receive something you've purchased (either xStreet or via an inworld vendor, do drop a notecard and/or IM to the seller inworld for redelivery. do allow some time for the seller to respond; i am sometimes myself away for up to 14 days (but usually only 7), and will get back to you as soon as possible!

But i'm gonna open that post too, don't worry... Anna, the brownies comment was to CouldBe- 'cause she sd she earned Brownie points- again a bit of idiom - here in the States, we have a group for young girls called the Girl Scouts and Brownies- http://www.girlscouts.org/program/gs_central/what_is_gs/brownie.asp . The Brownies do good deeds, or perform other chores or learn to do a thng what ever, and earn recognition in the way of Brownie Points. This has come into the day to day speech and means being appreciated for a well done thing. It had nothing at all to do with you. I have no clue where you got I meant for you to leave me alone. So anyhoo it's burning my poor brain out. I do wish you a happy SecondLife. ...exit... stage right... (This is about me..me exiting, again just some silliness from a cartoon panther thing that fancied himself a thespian and would say that when leaving a space)

To go with the tea as long as you don't mind if I dunk (annna, just so you don't get further offended the term dunk is probably only known to the English, it means dipping the biscuit in the tea - like the French dunk their croissants in their morning coffee)

From: annna Deed LOL,i can't resist,i must write something when someone for hundred times called me a bagger. OK. Not meaning any disrespect here, but I'd like to point out two things. 1. The word is "beggar", not "bagger". A bagger is a person who works at a grocery store and puts your purchases in bags. 2. Amaranthim didn't call you a beggar (or a bagger, either). Not even once. She was only wondering how the thread had gotten off track, from talking about XStreet to talking about beggars. When you read forum threads like this, you have to be careful. Sometimes people reply to posts well above the bottom of the thread. Sometimes there are many little conversations weaving in and out, and you have to read carefully to understand what's being said, what is being replied to, and who is talking to whom. Also, sometimes it's best to just not type a response to everything, especially an angry one. If there is an argument going on, SOMEONE has to stop it. Sometimes it's a good idea to say, "well, I'll just let it drop, it's not that important." (Good advice, Lindal...when will you learn to listen to yourself, hey? )

Opinions on that differ. re: slapt.me...No disrespect to Lord Sullivan and company, they've done some great work over there on the Adult Content issue. But if they're offering $L exchange services, are they LL approved? That is, do they use the Exchange Risk API? http://secondlifegrid.net/technology-programs/virtual-world-api/riskI would not trust any site buying or selling $L that doesn't. There are too many scams out there.

From: annna Deed And believe me i'm not that old to have a credit card,i still study. I signed my daughter up for a gas credit card when she was 16 so that she could start building a credit rating and start to learn how to handle a credit card. She is now in college and last year we had her sign up for a mastercard. She charges one thing each month to keep it active and immediately logs online and pays it from her checking account. So I guess I do not see a correlation between age and studying and getting a credit card.

More correctly, you changed your forum title, to BEGGAR. Your avatar name is still annna Deed. You can't change that. No, I can't say that I do like it, annna. It's not a very friendly thing to do. I know that you, and several of us regular posters, got off to a bad start. Your questions about asking for money, and camping, happened to press some of our hot buttons. I mean, they were the kind of questions that tend to get rude responses from us. Maybe we can start over. Hi, annna, I'm Lindal Kidd. Welcome to the Second Life user forums. You'll find answers to your questions here. You'll also find a large group of people who like to laugh with (and at) each other, give each other support, and love to talk and discuss and argue about just about anything and everything.

Credit cards aren't used as commonly in Europe as in the US.
