From: Scylla Rhiadra Yeah, this seems logical. I never felt offended by exposed bits on a dragon in any case, any more than I'd want dogs wearing undies. Well, I don't so much feel offended as feel it is kinda silly. It is common in adult Dragon/reptile art for male bits to be rendered just a tad too anthropomorphic. It is almost like the artists don't have enough imagination to draw more "appropriate" representations of it which don't amount to copy/paste human genitalia on a Dragon/reptilian form. From: someone Which comparison is, um, NOT intended as disrespect, btw. None taken; proportion is most important. Having the right equipment for the job is paramount; that covers all parameters, including size. From: someone Ah, yes, the logistics, the logistics. I should think a whole new set of poseballs would be required. And a very large tube of lubricant. Well, I was more referring to the RPing interpretive aspect. Inside of SL, for anthropomorphic Dragons, quite a few existing human animations/poses work pretty well with a little adjustment. For quads/ferals, well, at least one quad Dragon av maker has made a few sets of poseballs/animations for human<->quad action. >.> Dunno how well they work/look; not really my thing. As for the lubricant remark.. there are some videos out there..... scary. O.o

From: Smith Peel I do know that but if anybody wants to highlight my junk so badly, who am I to get in their way Being PG at the Isle, we don't always check, but if we have occasion to, we might ask someone to remove transparent but present bits. The main reason has to do with the sandbox where people are building. Highlight transparent is fairly often used in building to work with invisible prims or particles, so it can become an issue more by accidental discovery than by intention.

From: Talarus Luan Well, I was more referring to the RPing interpretive aspect. Why would the RP be problematic? (I'm afraid I really don't know very much about dragonish culture . . . )

From: Scylla Rhiadra Why would the RP be problematic? (I'm afraid I really don't know very much about dragonish culture . . . ) Well, um.. *points back to the Larry Niven short story link*. Razor-sharp talons vs skin, sharp teeth vs skin, incredible strength vs "fragile" body, etc. Wouldn't generally end up very enjoyable for the human. <.< I mean, we're not Superman (well, most of us, anyway ), but some of the same difficulties would be hard to hand-wave in terms of RP. >.>
