From: Lucrezia Lamont Why are there no "neko playing with ball of yarn" animations or pose balls?
Or is there one and I have not found it...
Because I'd buy it in the merest of seconds.
Thanks. I have actually seen a ball of yarn play animation. There is a store that that sells sky-lofts, one is kitty themed with a mousehole and a bunch of other stuff. One of the other stuff is a ball of yarn (I think). The kitty stuff is available to be bought separately, I think. I have no recollection of which creator created said sky-box, but I know one of the sky-boxes is a New York City apartment, and so maybe searching for that will lead to the kitty sky-box. Maybe. I think. Poodle. From: Joseph Abel /opens an eye mid-nap, sees kittens playing with yarn and horrible, horrible wheels rolling around

A shape approaches between the kitties and the man - "I was watching that . . I'm not asleep. Oh, ok. I can see over the tiger's ass." - eyes slowly shut again while muttering about a tiger having a donkey as a pet*

All this talk of knitting and nekos. I've never been able to knit, but I tie all my own flies. Is that ok? My living room usually looks like a racoon and a chicken got together and explodes (minus the gore). Bits of feathers and fur all about. As long as I keep the hooks away from the nekos, they should be fine playing with all the fuzzy bits.

Thank you, I'll check into that and I think I know the landlord you're talking about -- just need to find his stuff. Quality kitty toys that I don't own yet -- shocking. *returns to dethreading the ball of yarn*

From: Ann Launay *plays with Trout's fuzzy bits* I do not think that I wanted to know whether or not Trout shaved his bits. I am . . . slightly horrified now to have that knowledge. Horrified.

From: Maureen Boccaccio This sounds like a recipe for hellacious hairball problems.... But think about how colorful the hairballs will be! Bright red marabou, stripey grizzled hen hackle, sparkly Krystal Flash, chartreuse dubbing - it will be like some sort of Christmas decoration. I can hang them on the tree.

Actually...the part about hooks has my hair standing on end... However, trout seem to like Trout's fuzzy bits well enough, or he wouldn't keep going back for more...

However, trout seem to like Trout's fuzzy bits well enough, or he wouldn't keep going back for more... Well, they're sort of a vital ingredient in tying flies. You need something to tie stuff to, and frankly, a fly without a hook seems awfully ineffective. FWIW, I keep them in little boxes with sealed lids, so even if a RL cat got ahold of the box, they couldn't get into it and hurt themselves. Other than that, there's nothing really dangerous that I use. It's feathers, scraps of fur and various bits of thread, yarn, fuzz, and shiny stuff. No cats have ever been harmed, and since I'm the only one who can open the little boxes, I'm the only one whose ever been stabbed.

I saw the first page of this thread when it was first posted. Having run away and now come back to the current last page... I'll go with my initial knee-jerk reaction to seeing the thread title. From: Unending Spam almost 419-like in its volume Hello! I am bored this evening. I am nice girl that would like to chat with you. Email me at phil@lindenlavatory.com only, because I am using my friend's email to write this. Would you mind me showing some nice pictures of me?

Ohhhhh...okay! (psst...where do Ann's claws come into this?)

I didn't think he'd want them near his fuzzy bits.

From: Stormy Dyrssen Dare I mention Prince Albert? Was he a fly fisherman too? Although, his choice of rod was a bit odd...and most run the hook at the end of a line, not thrust through the rod... Than again, a dangling thread might attract the undue attention of eager kittens, and we'd be back to Ann's claws in Trout's fuzzy bits... I seem to be stuck...somebody kick the jukebox...
