Jazz clubs ... I could tell you the ones I like, but I like them because thee are more women than men :) Phat Kat's, Bogarts, Frank's Place ... any of the larger clubs will have plenty of men there.

There are SL dating services as well.

I'm confused. Other than the obvious lesbian sims, I haven't found any places to NOT meet men.

But I have found that most times at Jazz/Ballroom spots, people seem already 'coupled-up'.
The Blarney Stone in Dublin is a best spot I've found to chat people up. Good mix of newbs and old-timers, different backgrounds, really friendly, etc.

I was going through some hard times in between job and decided to check if SL catered to depression, lol. It has a large area set up for depression support. But I have stopped by several times and never seen anyone there to support ..... Good thing you cant commit suicide in SL.

I haven't found the chess club yet .... [ adjusts broken glassess frame.]

Honestly, coming from some one that was not looking to get involved in SL, has been in SL Almost a year, and have seen involved for more than 4 months, married in SL for 2 weeks. Just be in world and dare to say hello. If you are looking for a good and honorable guy try giving a non-sexual compliment, honor is sometimes given where honor is recieved. Also I hope your last line is not your pickup line, not sure about many guys, but if I was still in play that line would be my exit cue.
