Do you still own the Felonhall sim? No. Does not matter if it was reclaimed or sold, you gave up on it because you couldn't afford it and/or got sidetracked. That does not coincide with "I never give up".

No i did not give up on this, Basicly it went like so

the first Felonhall was on the mainland, back last year before november, this was not abandoned, i had found a private island and moved there, both landlords knew what was going on.

The second Felonhall (the one everyone knows that was on Harmony Isle) was running really good, and then something really bad had happened to me in real life (i had to deal with the death of my dad) and i was in Bristol (150 miles from where i live) with no internet access and feeling like shit,

and to be frankly honest, when you are in that state you don't give a shit.... about anything.

i have finaly got over it (my dad was a prick after all) and after getting supported by my freinds and mum i came back to Brighton (where i live now).

and obviously Felonhall (harmony isle) had gone. but i cannot time when someone dies and had no warning of my impending sadness.

but now i am back, and my mom is in very good shape so she will not be going anywhere. and all my real life freinds are in good shape and i have secure accomidation and a secure income.

so now apart from world war 3, or me getting ran over by a bus nothing can interupt me for the next 2 years at least.

This is what has happened and now i hope it has cleared some confusion

If that story is true, my condolences. I based my opinion on the fact that you yourself said a while ago in one of the dozens of Felonhall threads that you could not afford to run it any more. Frankly, I find it hard to believe that the whole of Bristol does not have a single opportunity to access the internet and contact the island owners, but hey, whatever you say...

Well, for someone who is so active on the forum, it is amazing that asking someone to contact the owners and explaining what happened never crossed your mind...

Edit: If I were not busy, I would indeed go through your posts... ah well, maybe later.

Novis my father also died last July, I live in London and my Father lives in Hull, North East of England, for some insane reason Hull doesn't seem to have discovered the internet yet and hardly any of my friends own a computer, I guess Bristol isn't as bad as that, but it's never simple to connect to SL when away from your normal set up. Also one doesn't really want to be in SL when someone is dying who is close to you.

You should prepare a detailed business plan with estimated expenses and revenue and then shop it around to Sim developer companies and see if one will bite. Expecting people to risk their money when you won't do the homework for them is amateurish. Don't be surprised if some who are interested want a bigger slice of the profit.

What I am wondering is why some postings are simply to the point of aggression towards Chaos. And yes I know he did not behave all that well in the past, but this postings, as well as his answers, are just fine as far as I can see. So either be helpful, or do not post at all I would say...

Chaos if you have a decent business plan (accompanied with calculations and numbers from the past) I am pretty sure someone must be interested. Might take a while but you will get there. Felonhall isn't a bit a style I like myself, but I was there and you sure can build well! Wish you all the luck with the new one :-)

Greetings Marcel

I am sorry you've been having hard time Chaos.
If I had the skills you did I would develop a product you could sell on slexchange and save up your money via your LL Credit until you could afford to have sim of your own that expenses were covered for enough in advance to cover everything for period of time.
I know how hard it is to have ideas and not be able to do it or have them fall through for various reasons.
I haven't given up on my own dreams but some I have decided I need to put on shelf until I have right things in place.
Good luck.

To be honest Chaos, i wouldn't have gone into great detail regarding your personal life to justify what happened to your previous project. You'll quickly learn that in the main you're dealing with a cynical and skeptical bunch that is the Resident's Answers crowd who will disect your every word and sentence you write here.... and then twist it some! Maybe everyones is bit twitchy due to the land dealing scams and copybots .....who knows!!.

In business sometimes have to take a risk and to be honest if i had a free SIM lying around I'd probably strike that deal with you. I don't see huge downside for me if you're just renting a SIM and willing to trade off some of your profits........at worst i might have to abosrb a month's tier if you did a runner. However being in London, i could quickly jump in the car and drive down to Brighton and haul...................only kidding! :)

I did ask an EstateOwner friend of mine, who does have available empty SIM's, but she was as twitchy as this lot in here. I guess she'll have to pay LL another month's tier whilst standing idle generating no income whatsoever. <scratches head> oh well!

Good luck in your search mate!

Just shows what can be done if you keep knocking on the door of Opportunity... it's the people that don't knock who never get an answer.

Good luck Chaos, I remember what it was like when I first described my anachronistic, non gambling non BSDM vaguely PG idea to people... now I'm expecting region #34 to land any day.

Never... give... up...

I am not insensitive to that. When my mother died, I lost the only family I have known for 35 years. I just find some things hard to believe in this case because they show a lot of inconsistencies. But I'll be quiet now. Better luck with this sim.
