I find that the weekly fliers from the local grocery store are quite enough to keep our snakes occupied. Reptiles simply don't demand the same kind of intellectual stimulation as mammals.

So true. I have 3 due for the Big Snip, and during their lampshade hat period, I will rotate Tolstoy, Milton and...hmn, maybe some Heinlein to keep them occupied for the 10 day recuperation.

Such an innocent. You missed the last doodad removal event, apparently. Jerboa is probably still hiding his in a vault at the thought of my regular testicle plundering.

Most of my cats are female, so we refer to the collar as their Elizabethan phase. They are not amused.

There are some people in forums who have a real "thing" about body functions and balls.

I thought they were better known for rarebit... though a few chunks of lamb in there would go far!

Edit: would make a pretty good vindaloo as well...

I still drive my husband crazy being able to read a book, carry on a conversation, actually listen to our kids, and follow a TV show at the same time.

At work today, during an hour of time: worked on updating a computer access permission list of 927 students, assisted several teachers with files students had sent via email (MS Works at home, all the school computers don't have the converters installed), helped two other students with Movie Maker and music files to use with their movies, disinfected two workstations (not what you might be thinking. 2 special ed kids were in and the keyboards were kinda saliva dripped on by the time they left), finished installing an astronomy program on 25 workstations for a teacher. I'm sure there is more, but can't remember right now :)

My kids can't figure out why we eat quick to cook stuff during the week, LOL! Dang it! I'm TIRED by the time I get home.

Oh yes, am also trying to avoid any flu for at least 2 weeks. We have non-refundable plane tickets to use!

Hai Sue! Whatcha doing in teh forums? Been ages...

Everyone knows that a Welsh Rarebit is a Cardiff virgin, but do you know what a Welsh Cocktail is?

Pep (A pint of Brains and a piece of you, since you are asking.)

PS "you" sounds like "ewe".

My Gully is gonna emigrate. Soon be winter. Or do they emigrate? Do they just stay around and get cold feet? He is a Herring Gull (I think). The kind that throws up food for chicks. What happens to them when it's a nasty day in the Atlantic? Poor little sod. Nature's very cruel to its denizens. From bollock-chopping wild women to my poor Gully; now I feel better about feeding him lamb chops and spareribs. My part for the planet. David Attenborough will be proud of me.

Jiggy, I think we are at similar latitudes and ours don't go anywhere. They have their nesting grounds offshore, but they hang about the beach and the village as well except when dogs chase them into the water. There is one spot they get fed by people, but for the most part they hunt. If you are feeding your Gull...might want to make sure someone is around to feed him when you aren't.

I love it :D "Bollock Chopper" I think it is Teag who does the actual chopping, I just pay for it, and provide the nursemaid service after the fact.

OMG you are now Bollock Chopper Par Excellence since its your "tag". Okay thanks for the update on Gully. I think Gully might be avoiding nesting grounds. He loves my big rock and has also taken over a huge rock that a black-back was using but I think he emigated. Now I must get ready for the evening and just get a brief rest. Will be on later when all you ball choppers are fast asleep in your hutches.
