Atrocity!!!! That thing is overcooked! (>_< ![]() QFT. Tuna should still be cool in the middle and just seared over very high heat on the outside. That thing is only good for mixing with mayo and a little pickle relish and serving on white bread with a slab of melted cheddar. _____________________

They have a tendency to overcook a lot of meats. Ever try to get one of them to give you a rare or med-rare steak? ![]() and you can pipe down and all ![]() _____________________

Stockholm /= England. Actually the best way to eat tuna is completely raw with a little smear of wasabi over a little clump of sushi rice served by a Japanese guy with really impressive knife skills. And maybe a couple Japanese beers. Tuna wasn't really made to be cooked. _____________________

Even if it's just for a sandwich, still.... abomination! _____________________

Pickle relish on tuna? Even if it's just for a sandwich, still.... abomination! Tuna+mayo+a dash of Mrs. Dash+a splash of yellow mustard and a spoon of relish. Load it onto a piece of bread, cover with a slab of cheese and stick the whole thing under the broiler until the cheese is all melty. Then top with another piece of bread and serve with a bowl of tomato soup. Excellent. _____________________

I'm sorry, what? I was duped into thinking it was a family recipe...but anyway.... Suet (like steak puddings etc) rolled flat, with bacon cuts on top, all rolled like a jam roly poly or swiss roll. Some people make it more of a pudding/pie thing, but i prefer the rolled version. Boil it in a cloth for a couple of hours and you have yourself a fabulous bacon pudding. Of course, some people try to do gross things like adding stuff to it, but i like it just the way it is (who had the idea of rolling leeks in it anyway? blech) _____________________

I know, I'm trying to imagine butterscotch pudding with little crispy chunks of bacon floating around in it, with whipped cream on top. *shudder*
