A word of caution to those that wait to reclaim their prims and belongings.... don't wait until the ship is sunk and think all prims will auto return to their owner. SL has been known to eat belongings and send them to never never land to be seen no more. If you want it back ever again, take it back into inventory before the sinking of the ship on March 1.

I guess I can go shoot up Governor Linden's mansion instead.

Good news.

You haven't done that already?

Who are you and what have you done with Brenda?

You'd probably be able to find them after the sinking. In Davy Jones' Locker.

Senator, I have no knowledge of such an Operation, nor would be disposed to discuss it if I did.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!! The ship missed the iceberg at the nick of time and is setting sail at full speed once again. lets all go and make this the number one attraction in SL and keep the dream alive.

good, this gives them time to market themselves as a rental, and not just a date spot.

*bump*

After reading this thread I decided to give it one more visit. Just happened to be the day that they announced it was saved.

Wandering around their website, I ended up at the rental page. Since Ty is my business alt, and my main av has a home, I had a revelation. Why not rent a suite to serve as a sort of business hospitality suite. I know the ship has rentable short term places for such, but why not have your own place to entertain clients, hold business meetings and such. Sure, it is initially a bit laggy during initial rez, but after a few minutes at a small draw distance (96 m) I generally get great framerates.

Anyway, I plan on using my new suite as a getaway for me, my main and my wife on occasions and to use for the occasional prize promotion for my business (weekend or week cruise for two, for example).

If you're ever wandering about, swing by 0404 on the foward sim and say Hi if I'm in.

Edited to add: Just to be clear, not selling anything in the suite - that's what my store is for.
