My RL friend that plays SL has her computer and keyboard setup on her treadmill. She's actually a lot healthier than she was before! See? She didn't tell you, but she's actually beta testing the new virtual reality software that makes her feet feel like they're sinking through the ground when she crosses sim boundaries. _____________________

i hear a rumor that LL will do away with text chat and only make it voice, is this true? If you didn't see it in the Linden Blog, or in the Proposed features, and Updates then it isn't true, the whole Idea is Too rediculous to be Granted any Credability what-so-ever. The Idea LL has is Making SL MORE accessable, Not Less. That is why Voice was Introduced in the First Place, and removing Text would make it Less accessable to a Large section of the SL population. It would also Completely and Utterly eliminate the Element of Fantasy, and Imagination that is the Biggest Draw Towards SL. Like they say in the Military, Rumors can do More Damage than the Enemy's Bullets. Don't Listen to them, and Don't Repeat them. Angel. |

I have a bicycle blimp that you can fly - I heard a rumour from a Linden who shall be nameless (my favourite colour) that LL will be banning flying and all residents will be issued with bicycle blimps upon their arrival on the grid.
PS if they removed text chat, there would be blood on my hands and one or two Lindens missing. |

I heard that LL is recruiting avatars to slip through the 1100 foot long tunnel (roughly 330 meters) on a volunteer mission to rescue the miners in Utah. This wouldnt work. If they have to cross a sim boundary, their tools and medical kits will end up you-know-where.... imogen _____________________

This is in connection with Bree's post a while back. I heard that LL, in trying to improve its public image, is going to market SL as a healthy alternative to exercising outside when it makes its new project 'Walk-Life' available to the public.
