I heard that in the next update our avatars are going to have to sleep and pee, also the economy will be replaced with making pizza.

I heard they are working on a tactile feedback device that allows you touch people and feel other people touching you. After that they are coming out with one that allows you to smell other people and for them to smell you. "Bringing all your senses into the virtual world" is the new motto.

I don't know if I really wanna smell some of the people in Second Life.

Bree - I would buy one of those, but only if I could control how I smell. I want to smell like cotton candy - just like John Travolta in Michael.

Qui and Ketter also have good entries. I like how Qui's built on the original rumor, and accusing Philip Rosedale of having an ice cream addiction was a brilliant move by Ketter.

This is going to be a tough one to judge.

I heard a similar rumor.

Only the version I heard was they fixed all bugs already - any problems you have now must be your own computer.

I haven't heard any rumors 'cause I'm not wearing a headset.

I heard that Microsoft is going to buy SL, and since they are so impressed with SL's stability, they are going to use it as their next OS, Windows Life.

They should be enhancing text features so that I can contact people in world via some im system that is more reliable than trying to reply via email. It would benefit my business greatly if I could get messages to people inworld whilst I'm on my lunch break at work!

I heard that they are going to start banning everyone who is the victim of griefing or in-world fraud, to cut down on the complaining.

This is in connection with Bree's post a while back.

I heard that LL, in trying to improve its public image, is going to market SL as a healthy alternative to exercising outside when it makes its new project 'Walk-Life' available to the public. This is where we can walk on our treadmills and hike through SL concurrently.

Actually I _have_ heard a rumor.

But I'll keep it to myself.

My RL friend that plays SL has her computer and keyboard setup on her treadmill. She's actually a lot healthier than she was before!
