I take it you mean the one that was in my signature. <snip>

Yes that was it- I went back before reading ur explanation this morn and was able to get there. Didn't help though since I had voted on it previously.

Yes that was it- I had clicked your signature- but went back this morning before reading your explanation and got it- I didn't help though since apparently had voted on it a while ago.

Perhaps you know someone else that has the problem who hasn't voted.

You can add comments to the issue even if you have already voted for it.

(My post hiccuped, I re-wrote it, it appeared as a differently worded double post soo I deleted one and u had quoted me. Hehe... people will wonder :))

Outstanding! Perhaps you also know someone who might want to vote.

Can we find any bot runners who'd like to have their robotic minions vote for this issue?

I wonder if a list could be passed, would that be some kind of technological impossibility?

If they did it, it'd probably be a string. That way you could do llList2CSV for lists and just cast with anything else.

Efficient? Not really.. Easy? Oh yeah.. (edit, tho the BS you have to do to get around the fact that you can only pass ints would more than make up for casting costs, I think)

WEB-841 Refer-A-Friend link no longer exchanges calling cards with new signups. No referral bonuses for accounts created after July 23rd 2008.

Well, I voted for that, maybe you can get someone to vote for fixing the font display, http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3947

I'd already voted for Adz's fix the referral program issue.

And I voted for llTeleportAgent (surprised I hadn't voted for that already), maybe IBME can scrounge up some votes for http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3947

Here's two of my pet issues:

This is to deal with the inconsistencies of ground textures on estate land in a relatively easy way, after discovering that land textures were not exactly consistent based on elevation -- like they're supposed to be.

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-784

This one is to help alleviate some of the pressures of the 25 group limit, and provide an alternate for those who need to rez objects on a plot beyond having to add yet another group.

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12078

I also have a slew of entries about damaged Linden builds. My real pet ones of these are...

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-1836

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-1680

and

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-1139

Adding this one from another thread- it seems pretty important- don't know if it is possible - but vote on it please.

It is about the annoying hover text bleed thru walls thing:

OK! Let's at least get a legion of Hippo Wearing Jira Rable Rousers On Crusade!!
Get it noticed and maybe they can either fix it or let us know it can't be done.

Can you list it please? I want necks too but I don't have forum signatures turned on - nor do I wish to. Thanks :)

I think SVC-22 is the oldest "critical" bug still open in Jira. :eek:

At this point I'd be satisfied with doubling the existing points the way HUD Center is.

What I would like is to be able to drag the attachment points around the av and place them where I want, specifying whether I want them to move with the mesh or not.
I would also like the ability to add or remove extra attachment points.
The default set could only be moved, not deleted and an easy way to reset to the just the default points in the default places would be needed.
This would allow 100% compatibility with what we have and yet provide new places to attach things :)

Well, I'd like some things that go beyond that system, like:

Skirt/Jacket: pivots at hip, but pivots to the average of left and right upper leg, for a skirt/jacker prim attachment point that moves with the legs when you sit down.

Tail: pivots at hip, but pivots with spine, so when you bend over your tail pivots up but stays attached to the hip.

I could see those being extra options you could specify on my basic system though :)

I'd also like to add one ;). There was quite some discussion on the SLDev discussion list, unfortunately it drifts away a bit losing focus.

Better than that Jacek created a new entry for Script-to-viewer communication: llViewerSay, llViewerOwnerSay, llViewerInstantMessage: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3848

I consider that an important issue. Votes are open :)

Forum Issues in jira
02-21-2009 15:14
There are two issues in the jira system about problems that should be familiar to forum users. I'd like to see them get a thousand votes each.

=====
"Http 403 FORBIDDEN response when posting to forums" WEB-917
"If you create or reply to a forum post and use the word "from" preceded (even several sentences earlier) by the word "from", then you get a 403 Forbidden message. Someone has an over restrictive keyword scanner at work. Same failure using IExplorer, Firefox, Opera & Google Chrome. May be other keywords that are throwing errors. " Also Flock and Maxthon.
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-917
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-917

====
"BBCode not working on official SL Forums" WEB-156
"BBCode was reported to have been turned off for an upgrade of some sort, but it doesn't seem to have been turned back on. I imagine this is just an oversight, but it makes posting on the Forums rather annoying, without images or links or formatting."
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-156
http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-156

==================

If Blue Linden is correct that LL is not going to close this vBulletin forum, then it should be upgraded to the current version of vBulletin, which I think should solve all or most of the security problems that caused the turning off most of the vBcode.

Note that the BBCode issue has been assigned to Jeff Linden, who is known to spend his time at work eating crayons, which probably reduces his productivity a great deal, and since there has been no apparent progress of any sort on this issue, it might be that the problem needs to be assigned to someone else who can take a fresh start on the issue. Possibly this should be a high ranking executive staff member with the authority to allocate budget and manpower resources to solve this problem expediently.
