Does it support shadows?

There is a version of it that does the shadows. It's a special separate build at this point but yep. it's there.

For shadows please look for the shadow viewer thread. That is experimental and instable. Cool Viewer here is stable.

It would be interesting to see some screens of your client rendering shadows. None seem to be available on your blog.

Getting CRC errors on 2nd RAR..........

You need to download both parts into the same directory, then use WinRAR or 7-zip or any RAR capable archiver to extract the first (part1) file. It will take care of part2 automatically.

All you colourful people out there, I was listening to what you had to say . I understand that some of you feel more familiar with the "official SL" user interface compared to the more flexible and configurable Cool Viewer UI. And I've made a version that is exactly that. A viewer with the look and feel of the official SL client, but with most of the goodies and fixes from CV. Here it comes. I call it Rainbow Viewer (and thanks Jacek for the new Logo that still needs some work )

I haven't used your viewer yet, but your SL-hand-like yet Non-LL-trademark-infringeing logo makes me like you vewwy muchly. I may just give it a shot.

The new and I say unfinished logo was made by Jacek from Imprudence .

Is it in all flavors? like 1.19?

If you are the alternate viewer type, I can't recommend CV enough. especially if you are a non Winlight Luddite like me.

Marine was busy again, and came out with a new release of her RestrainedLife 1.17. Henri was busy too. Thanks a lot you two ! Very slightly delayed here are the brand new corresponding Cool Viewers for Windows incorporating the new RLV and as always too much of the real good stuff that is almost impossible to count .

Have been looking for a viewer for a friend who's laptop graphic card is the basic requirement. His FPS runs about 3-4. I downloaded the Rainbow Viewer on my laptop which has a average graphics card. In the SL viewer I am getting 34 FPS but with the Rainbow I am getting 54 FPS. I didn't have time to use it more than a few minutes but where I logged in is script heavy and had no problem moving around. Will do more testing this evening. Thank you for an alternative for those whose graphics cards meet the basic requirements or have older machines.

Why would you want to work around this? This was in fact a requested feature by many and it ensures an existing SL viewer and CV do not interfere with each other (and this caused a lot of problems earlier).
