From: Nic Writer It's easy to say "Don't click on anything until you've read it" - but at least once I've read something, gone to click on it, and had another blue box slide down as I was clicking and get clicked instead. (Some goof was sending my alt repeated friendship requests.) No harm done, in that instance, but it wouldn't hurt to change the format of the group invite so it can't be accidentally clicked that way. I will admit that this is true and a real problem. My opinion is that all notices should show oldest to newest, so new ones would go to the back of the pile. But that might be too logical for LL to implement.

From: Clarissa Lowell By the way, how do you tell if there is a fee for being in a group? I don't mean a join group fee, is there another fee, for being in a group - charges monthly or something? Pull up the group info, go to the Members & Roles tab, click on the Abilities tab there, scroll to nearly the bottom of the list and look for the Accounting category with a line saying "pay group liabilities" under it. Click that line and then towards the bottom, on the left, it will list the roles that will get charged. If you are in any of those roles, then you may get charges. FYI, member of the Forum Cartel group do occasionally get an L$1 charge for the group showing in Search.

From: LittleMe Jewell I do not have all 25 slots filled and I know a few folks that have been here over a year that also still have group slots available. funny but true, I've been in ~5years... I STILL haven't maxed out my groups... but then I'm very selective (and secretive, most of my groups are hidden except the general purpose ones, if I'm hanging out being a kid, people act funny about having kink groups, if I'm hanging out with my kinkier friends the kid groups make people paranoid... and no I don't mix the two ::erases mental picture of a 3yo in a leather harness and shudders:  (ps, no I don't play a 3yo OR wear leather harnesses, my mind just has a bad habit of pushing things to their (il)logical extremes)

This is acompletely different thing to the OP who is talking about group invite charges which has nothing to do with land.
