From: Marty Starbrook The hangout is a great place with really friendly people.... Im certainly proud to be part of it and am thinking ........ should we start sorting out the xmas knees up *lol* I think we UK types should be making more noise ... I sometimes have absolutely no idea what people are talking about there! What ya say Marty? Get our heads together? I am sure I can make some virtual mince pies. Everyone, no need to be shy to go there ... I am never shy, just being so very very meek and mild I am scared of Brenda.

I nipped over to have a look and LM'ed the place. Is there a group? Hmm I can squeeze one more in I think. It was empty when I got there, but I am looking forward to meeting some of you folks I am also in the UK, although my times tend more towards the EST/PST (much to the chagrin of my RL work).

From: Kelly Kuiper /me waves to all Hiya Rosie. Yep it's a cool place. Nice people too. I find that sofa very comfy for a nap. Though I often wake to find a strange man in a pink polo shirt looking down at me Just for the record. I have NOT worn my pink polo in several weeks.

I haven't been to the hangout yet, but am hoping to get there soon. It sounds absolutely mental! ..... can't wait! lol. I too am on UK time, and can't really afford to be staying up too late so I do have to limit myself, or I'll end up half dead at work lol.

By The Way....We are holding our Thanksgiving Yard sale at the hangout, in the area next to the bull ride. Group Members can place their items throughout the week. You don't have to be a Group Member to come by and browse. If you'd like to join the group, send and IM to either Chris or myself.
*A Thank You to all who dropped in last night as we bid farewell to Zaphod, who has left SL. He will be missed.*

From: Cherry Czervik You say this as if it is something unusual ... zzzzzzzz Its not really that unusual, I quite often can't help but stay up late. But my boss is beginning to notice lol. I think it's the amount of coffee I drink... ....or it could be the makeshift paper pillow

From: Rosie Castro /me nervously anticipates first locked thread....
Heh, the first time is always the most memorable! Anyway, I think I've had at least half of my threads locked, and I'm still posting pointless crap. So have fun!

I'd like do awful things to you, but I'm pretty sure you'd snap me in two like a twig and leave me cross-eyed, dizzy and confused. I'm giving you a 9.8, tied for the top rating ever given. Almost off-the charts slutty. Shame on you and congratulations. -- Trout

Um, are you sure you've found the right place Seriously tho, all new members should stop by. It is quiet a lot of the time, after all everyone has different schedules/time zones, etc. But many times there is quite a large group that winds up gathering and the conversation is flying and much hilarity ensues. Other times, we sit there looking at each other like we'd rather be elsewhere but can't think of anywhere else to go at the moment and so we stay, because sometimes, it's just nice to sit quietly with friends.

Erm... I've stopped by, a time or two... I wouldn't say that I'm shy, exactly, but I do tend to be on the quiet side and not one to start a convo with people unless I've had far too much coffee. Wait, I suppose that -does- make me shy, now that I think about it...

Been there, done that. Oughtta do more but I'm obsessing about a building project and it's eating a lot of my limited time. (Even missed my own Rezday!) Visits have ranged from casual chitchats by the fire or on the dock to the Halloween party which was a BLAST! I'll try to check in there more often and see who's hanging out.

From: Sandy Carver I was down there yesterday and there were four very talented musicians playing the steel drums.
There was also a tall cat lady with lots or clothes who liked to shoot things.
Oh yeah, and somebody thought I was dead and locked me in a box so the crabs wouldn't eat me.
Oh hang on, that may all have been a wierd dream ................. hehe /me pokes nose in and meows "Um . . the term cat lady, at least here in the US of A, tends to be applied to oldish women with many cats that have some slight insane qualities (both the cats and the women); tend to be shabbily dressed; will sometimes yell and scream and throw things at you. My definition is updated by way of the cat lady in the television series "The Simpsons"; prior to that it just meant a single older woman living with one too many cats "these are my babies"." -- The locking was unintentional, the stars acted as a cage. Quite unexpected.

From: Chris Norse Just for the record. I have NOT worn my pink polo in several weeks. Sid was wearing a pink vest, which seemed to include pink underwear. And Kelly was sitting on the ground when Sid saw her, and Sid did stand over her. Was outside and not by the sofa, but . . .

For your delectation, delight and general amusemsnt, I shall impale myself on a rusty spike between 7.15 and 7.25 GMT this evening. If I can talk him into it, Sandy will walk around me dressed in nothing but pink shorts quoting passages from various Thomas Hardy novels.
Is this the start of the Forum Cartel Alternative Theatre Group?
