Well hung!

Pep (Not an ethnic joke)

Yes, from what I know he was a big prick.

Do they (LL) expect us (the land owner) to monitor and moderate the Avatars that visit our land too? I run a PG business on a PG (soon to be G rated) sim. I see all sorts of inappropriately dressed avatars wandering around my store. I kicked out some tart wandering around with her knockers hanging out the other day as I felt she could have at least gone to the effort to put a bra on, but I see customers wearing BDSM clothing, I see masters dragging skimpily clad slaves around on chains, I see people wearing t-shirts with inappropriate imagery, I see people smoking doobies, people wearing guns, people carrying blood stained swords and even if a woman is dressed perfectly respectably you could still (in theory) zoom the camera up their skirts to see their George Bush if they are wearing inappropriate underpants.

So do you think LL will be expecting me to eject avatars who have a non PG or maybe even a non G rated appearance?

Even when you aren't logged on. But don't worry. For a small fee Vinnie and Vito Linden will "protect" your business from non LL approved troublemakers. It's an offer you won't be able to refuse.

Could be a good business opportunity there. "T & A police". Go round sticking Censored signs on all those busty cleavages and mini skirts. Gotta be worse jobs than seeking out skimpily clad female avs suitable for censorship.

Adult content

Big brother linden and the busy bodies are at it again

First very few intelligent adults using adult content will want to do what is neccessary to age verify. These adults are intelligent cautious and self protective and are very much aware of how little guarantees there are on line to prevent identity theft, let alone to violate your privacy. Many who will age verify will under age people stealing their parents ID. Maybe the majority. I bet if the lindens check in a few months to see how small a percentage have done so they may take the hint and hopefully if they are paying for the age verifications service they will abandon it as a bad business decision even if they are willing to step on the rights of others.

Secondly because the majority of those using adult content will be reluctant to age verify many of the adult sites will suffer a major decline in traffic and may die as a result, which may be the intention.

Third, while there is little concern for those who are not paying members and live off camping this will make it more difficult to find camping spots as the adult sites provided many of the locations. Of course this is the pool from which paying members eventually come and if they leave ..maybe eventually it will hit the pocket books of vendors first and then the lindens. You need consumers to keep the lindens flowing.

Forth ultimately adult sites will be forced to go underground and hide as just mature sites, which may also be what the company wants to make them less visible to deal with the vocal complainers. This will be the best scenario and will let us go on as before.

Fifth this may encourage those who have begun exploring other virtual worlds to migrate.

I suppose this was made inevitable by the success of second life...but make no mistake...I doubt the majority care one way or the other..but on opposite sides you have two groups who do...and the rights of one have been trampled on by the other...

I urge you all to protest vehmently
