That's interesting. Is it a way of indicating they are "less than" Doms, or is it a code to indicate their preference?
It is something from way back in old chat programs. The idea being that a sub was not entitled to having a capital for their name as they were below the Dom.
This is something that seems to have died out in most chats now but with older chat ppl.
