Do you use an ALT to live your SL sex life?

I have started realizing that at least several people i know of in SL, use ALTs to live their sex life.

Do you do that? Do you feel you need to hide your "promiscuous" or "private" sexual activities by using an ALT?

What is wrong with using your main account?

I pretty much do everything on my main. And even if i do use an alt, she has the exact same shape, skin, tats, pierces, that I have - so if you know what Briana Dawson looks like, then you will recognize me immediately on my alt - who is just a holdover from a time when alts = Linden referral cash. No matter what i do, where i go - no matter how depraved or whatever, i go as Briana.

I only have one AV and what i do in SL is much the same as i have done in RL

I know people who are educators that have a main that is involved with a RL college and then have an alt for fun. They sort of need to stay away from teh sexxehs with the main.

No.. I live my SL sex life as myself and use my alt for when I want to work and not be disturbed.

Main avatar for dressing-up purpose. Whereas alt travels incognito to carry out experiments and fish out cashless funs and gadgets.

I did for a while. I *am* that alt, in fact. I had a couple of friends in my original account who were a bit squicked by the whole SL sex thing, so Kelli was created to experiment with that side of things. In the end they dropped out of SL, so I went back to my old account for a while, but I'd made more interesting contacts with my Kelli personality, so Kelli became the full-time me.

I don't suppose any one will admit it, but many people who are in a serious relationship here use an alt whenever they want to be unfaithful.

If you check the "crime section" of the SL page, they have most of them up there as evidence. How was I supposed to know that Ripped-off Xcite Branch #500087 doesn't want you testing your toys on the campers?

I'm sure some people do this. But I like to believe they are a small minority.(Or hoping anyway...)

Not disillusioned, but definitely a little cynical.

Many people have open relationships these days. But i do suspect there are a great deal more who do cheat on their primary relationship by using an alt.

I think people will admit it here. I know of a couple forum people who use an alt for sex. Maybe they just haven't seen the topic or are abstaining. hehe.

Never have time for that now and my SL partner is my RL partner so need anymore to hop on a poseball
