Totally. It started as a way for me to ID people who read my RP limits. But, now, it's pretty much my common nickname. (^_^)

Though... Voicers have called me "Eye-Mee" more often than is funny. Think, "Timmy" without the "T". (^_^)y

I did an Immy last night.

Some people knew what I meant when I mentioned it in group chat, some didn't.

the most fav name I have seen in SL is....

Random Person

I think that is by far, the most coolest name I have seen in the 3 years I have been in SL

I saw a Unit Tester. And a Performance Tester.

Tester is a Linden name, I believe, used by . . um, testers. heh.

Wait... Didn't I start as a verb? (o.O)

Wait... Sentence? (O.o)

Wait... What? (._.)

Performance Tester shows up in Waterhead a lot. I've TPed on it's head a couple times. =^-^=

There was one Jira issue I started that intrigued quite a few Lindens and I started poking them into getting me a Tester account if they kept prying repeatability experiments out of me. Sadly, I never got the account and my observation turned out to be "normal" SL behaviour. (T_T)

Doing an Immy, or Do an Immy = streaking the hangout (or just streaking in general)

I was in a newbie area when I saw Performance Tester, but I do not think it was Waterhead. Oddly enough there was a Linden standing right next to Tester and there was something in the profile of one or the other, or in a group tag or something that lead me to believe that Linden was controlling the Tester.

Tester was a white ball, so I only have a picture of the Linden that was there. :(

Stick with don't.

Your name has a great ring to it: kind of Dickensian with a dash of fun laid over a good rhythm.
/me smiles then checks for some food glorious food. :D

Sorry *you* hate numbers in peoples' names, but that's your problem not mine. Your judgemental attitude just might prevent you from discovering a good friend, your loss.

88 keys on a piano, not that 87 people took the name before me. It's worked well as a brand for 9 years now, long before I came to SL and brought others with me.

Shouldnt' you being cresting some hill with a rifle firing it at aliens falling from the sky in some MMO with a name like that?

Or maybe you install Juke Boxes in bars & pubs?

AndDontCallMe Shirley?? Interesting that Shirley is a last name in SL but that there are only 34 and it was only open for 17 days.

Yes, it gives me an instant impression of the person. Although not always negative, I tend not to socialize with people who have numbers in their names as often. If it's an AOL looking name, I generally feel sorry for them, as they likely didn't understand that it was a login name, and not an avatar's name for in world.

Sexual names generally get ignored completely. But no matter what, the name gives me an impression(right or wrong) of the personality of the person.

For me, I spent a long time choosing a name when I switched avvies. Just ask some of my friends, I'm sure they got tired of hearing about it. *wink*
