When I was newer people were down right vicious and insulting in forums they weren't banned.
Seen it several times nothing happen unless I didn't know.
In fact I have seen down right viciousness at least three times a week here.
Anyone else notice this?
If I reported every abusive comment if I knew how I might get banned myself for abusing the abuse report system.

well when ya im a res mod inworld and call em every kinda swingin monkey in the jungle the Linden Reports follow your locked threads and ya get stalked through the forums like Jessica Simspson with perma-nip-slip!

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Celestial Studios Vogue skins...I own almost all (like 111/116ish) of them in my preferred shade. Which is utterly ridiculous, I know. lol

Perhaps it would have been more accurate to say 'same skin line,' since the makeup does change fairly often. And I guess it must actually have been January that Ann achieved her current look, since the skins didn't come out until then. I was wearing the CS Charmed skins prior to that, though.

(edit)Necromancy, thaumaturgically speaking, is a branch of magic in which the magician uses the power of death to effect his or her spells. The sacrifice may be an animal, but for the most powerful spells, human sacrifice is required.

Necromancy is looked upon by most practitioners of other magikal arts as being the blackest sort of sorcery.

Why has no-one suggested Jumpy as the sacrifice?

And would it really be that black a magic in the circumstances???

Thread Necromancy while not an offense typically worth doing anything about, it does serve to pound the nails in the coffin.

I asked about posting to dormant threads and the Linden moderator's reply was quite clear: one can post a reply to any post that's open. The age of the thread's initial post or the gap between posts has no bearing. That's what it means for the thread to be open - if it's open, you can post another message.

There's no rule in the forum guidelines that forbids posting to long dormant threads.

Its pretty standard Internets-wide forum etiquitte however to let long dead threads stay dead.

Theres several practical reasons - including -

-The posters in that thread may no longer be active on the boards any more.
-The information contained in such threads may be woefully out of date.
-If a heated discussion that was nearly closed , its better off dormant.

A good example was when Heretic Linden Necroposted an Ageplay thread a few months back. That thread was pre-ban and left many people to believe there was no ban. After all a Linden had posted on that Thread.

Yes, but if you are a necromancer, you could just raise up as a skele and come back to haunt. That would be cool!

Maybe it would help try reading what I wrote instead of looking for the joke in it

I said standard etiquitte. Not a standard.

As in good manners.

Something your mother obviously didnt bother teaching you.

Just one girl's opinion... Jumpy originally necroposted in a Sticky over in the ResMod area. Why aren't Stickies LOCKED to begin with?

Just like the RA stickies: 147-odd "top 5 tips" and 41 FAQ posts? Come on! If I was a newbie, I'd see that and walk right away.

The gambling equipment sticky I can understand, but stickies designed for newbies are not doing their jobs if people aren't going to read them.

*shrug* Just my two cents.

You've been rude about Mummy!...well she was too busy. My nanny taught me all that stuff...and this maxim too. 'the little people don't desrve good manners!" but thanx for interjectin again Lil Collettee or Mini-Meji or whatever ya callin urself this week. Mere ettiquette is no way to REGULATE a forum.

Posting to a Sticky wouldnt really be necroposting, since its a sticky. By definition it isnt buried.
