Well Age of Conan is adult, that's probably why the new update apparently has this: "Fanny Two-tricks now has a "Tell me about yourself" dialog, where the player can trade in 15 silver for a good time. Shooting guns or arrows or hacking someone to bits with swords or axes with the intent of "killing" your opponents and causing their "death" would seem to absolutely require being in an Adult rated sim now. I see no exceptions. Death is death. What sort of culture sees traumatic activities as appropriate for random mixed company? _____________________

Will the ban on certain words in Search affect foreign languages?? "Penis" would be blocked, but would it also block that word in Spanish? German? Japanese? French? Klingon?  _____________________

You die, and get sent home. No blood or gore. Jessie was created for the purpose of providing a LL sanctioned combat sim. _____________________

Jessie was created for the purpose of providing a LL sanctioned combat sim. Ah, but you do still "DIE". Ergo, Death is depicted, as the disintegration of your presence in Jessie. The KB6010 definitions don't say there is any exception for the Linden Damage System's form of 'Death'. _____________________

True, but many weapons you can set the damage to 1 point, and they rez fake blood, so there is lots of blood before they get teleported home.  |

Only good, clean, fun death will be legal in Jessie. Just like the first battles before the arms race began. War in Jessie is an eternal process. It will continue in one form or another. Alternatively, LL may make an exception to their own rules (like that's never happened before) and tag Jessie as adult content, but leaving it where it is. _____________________

Heh, LL has the imperial perogitive when it comes to interpreting the definitions that they create. Has anyone seen anything to suggest that damage enabled will be taken from parcel powers on mature mainland? Actually, as I recall you have to set the land in options to "safe-no damage" in the current viewer. Same for "no pushing." _____________________

I am basing my club builds etc on what I have used since I have been here. I have always been on Mature Sims. My understanding is that anything Rated R is Mature anything more "intense" is adult.
Example: My club plays movies with events. Showing the movie Hostel is okay for Mature, but Running a club based and built like the Movie Hostel would be adult. Playing Saw "Good" Club Saw "Bad" House of Jigsaw "Bad" Fighting with Blood is rated what Mature? But if you raise the "intensity" of the experience to include Blood Curdling Screams and gorey sounds surrounding the place with walls of decapitated bodies, have it raining blood from the ceiling then that would be "bad, Mkay" |

hmm, would that mean all the bloodline players will have to limit their hunts to the adult sims? afterall they will drain someone to the death (ok technicaly undead) if they get a change and the btemarks they leave are very bloody
it would mean I got another topic to AR them on if they pop in and send a bite request without introducing themself first and asking if I want to participate in their excuse for a roleplay, right now it is limited to harasment/disturbing the peace. |
