Okay, This is a Friday-ish thread, but I've had a day, so I'm gonna post anyways. What are some of the silliest things you've done in SL? For myself, the night of exploding vehicles by turning them physical an then unlinking them comes to mind. So does the night we stacked 25 avvies at once. Some of the family chicken dances an the Onikokko + Manbo! party might be up there, too. But I think this, from the other night, might top 'em: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=89oSkUZ1L5sSo what's yours? Mari

Are you? Joking aside, just logging in to SL is silliness. That's why I do it.

Oh I 'spect getting LH IM long ago and someone asking how they can attach their penis. I calmly replied... First find the penis in your inventory, secondly right click the object and choose 'attach to' finally select 'nose'.

Dressed up in my tiny robot ear of corn avatar, went to a party and assaulted the guests with many groanworthy corn-related puns.

Seriously? I'd have loved to see THAT! I like to hang around people wearing a potted plant avatar. You wouldn't believe how many people actually ignore the name tag and think I'm....just a potted plant. Making stuff physical and let it disintegrate form large heights is fun until you get all that rubbish "object", "object", and "object" back in lost and found...

Edit: On a different note, I am translating an exhibition catalogue on Gandharan Buddhist monuments into English, and every time I come upon Bodhisattva....I think of you...silly innit?

I received these tiny cars, called the "Oui Coupe" as a gift from a friend. They are relatively about the size of a large radio controlled car would be in RL, but, of course, you can squeeze into them and drive them around. We rezzed a bunch of them at the Hangout and had races on the dance floor. Then someone made a ramp from the ground into the Hangout and we raced up the ramp, onto the dancefloor (or into the wall, more frequently, then down the stairs back to the ramp.
Just goofy. But totally fun. I may have done something sillier, but I can't put my finger on it right now.

That's not too bad. About 5 times a week, I drive by Desmond Lane, which is close by my home, and every time I think "Desmond Lane, small business mang." It's becoming OCD. Every time I drive by Lindal Cedar Homes on the way to Seattle, I have the same reaction, and I don't even want to tell you what I think when I walk into Cabelas and see the giant shoulder-mounted Oryx head on the wall.

I wasn't sure I was allowed to name names, but thanks again, Ann! I still love the oui coupe. The big wheel is fun, too! Ann finds the best toys.

From: Trout Recreant I wasn't sure I was allowed to name names, but thanks again, Ann! I still love the oui coupe. You didn't say anything derogatory, so I can't imagine there'd be a problem with using my name. And I just KNEW you had to have that car the first time I saw it!
