Gnubies don't seem to be around anymore. I recently re-discovered a LM to that place in my inventory, and when I went there, I found an empty and renamed parcel.

It relocated lately... I gotta check again myself. It would be sad to see them go. They had some genuinely good stuff by great creators. (T_T)

It's still around although they did move at one point, iirc. I took a newbie person there a few days ago and it had been expanded with some added content I hadn't seen there before. Try a search for "Gnubie Store".

I think it moved a little while ago and it's looking pretty slick. They have contributions from some well known content creators so it's pretty high quality compared to some places. Most things are free but some are 1L.

Further, Amity is being crucified here because of its policy, and you, among others, believe that policy is wrong, which I do not have a problem with, but you [plural] make it sound as if Amity did something terribly wrong and wronged this noob.

Should we start jumping on other shop owners for their policies when it shocks our sensibilities? "Someone tell me why I have to pay for anything here!" "Why isn't there a store clerk to help?"

And, yes, someone did piss in my wheaties this morning.

Anyone can allow or disallow anyone they wish in their store and on their land. SL is huge - go find some other places. I don't think I would be making assumptions and judging SL based on one store in the entire masses out there.

I must add that in many ways I agree with Paracelsus' attitude on this one -- the OP did not come in here with any sort of attitude that actually indicated they wanted true help rather than wanting to bitch and whine about SL in general and a particular location.

Yeah, I know- SL just sux the worst doesn't it? No good people, no good content- can't do anything! I ran into that amity place too when I made an alt and ran around trying to see how good I could make her look with just freebie stuff.

Just used search for "free stuff" and started hitting spots to see what was available and this Amity place showed up on the first or second page.

Was very suprised when I got ejected from the land for being under 2 weeks old.. came back later with my main character to see what was so "special" but just found the normal old freebie stuff you can find in most spots, heck they have better freebies on orientation island now!

Its not a store from what I could see, looks more like a mall sim.
