defenition of resolved:

when you can`t see complaints when looking the other way
when no reports come in when having it disabled
when not being able to see reports cause of loading issues
when the boss says it is fixed when it clearly is not
when can not be arsed to find the problem
if it is the forums only as we do not care

[RESOLVED] from LL just means they have stopped working on it and has nothing to do with anything actually being fixed. The thousands of times they have [RESOLVED] issues in the past when they were not even remotely fixed should make that clear to everyone.

503 errors are a symptom of the web server for LL's website intermittently becoming unavailable. Likely culprits: load balancer, DNS server, inadequate disk/CPU resources, etc..

Nothing you can do about it on your end, it is LL's problem.

I just tried to get in world - and got a 503 error. ? ! ?

Maybe that's just the opening screen -- web based or something. That's OK. I still remember how to watch movies or read. Or do housework.

If resolved means to get it working in a previous state, it could very well BE resolved. Things have been broken for so long, any dozen or so previous states are messed up too. =/
