my Autoscum Bikcin account went into Midian City to genuinly rollplay, and as i had said near the Midian City conrete base in the Appocalypse sim i was rollplaying until i had said "My ex boyfreind said that" (the player said "all British citizens are like nanzies and should all be strung" Now because he did not use the magical bracked ((OOC in a RP sim must be in double brackets like this)) i did not take it seriously. until he said "(please lave us alont, we do not like your kind here))

Note this is what he said to my last avatar, note they do not know that my autoscum account is attached to my main alt. this is "unaceptable" (said in a southpark super nannies
epesode accent, purposely missing out the other C and pronouncing it Un-ass-eptable)

but seriously, this is out of order and LL will"not get involved" and i will, this is waaaay over the line and i have brought alot of other darkRP sim owners with me to prove that this kind of thing happens, they are all discussted and Midian City's traffic has gone down since this

If there is a midian city admin or owner who would like to talk to me about the homophobia issue please contact Chaos Bikcin in-world, or otherwise watch your sim die because of intollerence.

I remember while back ago I met this new guy. I spent some time and showed him around, even helped him.
He was annoying but I figure he was just new, lost and lonely.
So I introduced him to new friend to take a break and go do some stuff in my shop at the time.
Few moments later he writes, Um my friend writes and says the guy got issues with gay people. The the newbie writes: did you know so and so is gay.
I said Yes, so am I. What's the point? It is irrelevant.
Newbie responds: I can't be friends with gays.
I was upset, I spent hours helping the Dude. Not once did I try to raid his butt nor
would I ever. I sort of lost it on the Dude but I didn't crash any Sims because I was
pissed or hunt the guy down and make his life difficult.
There were prims and textures to be played with.

I don't like the BDSM or Gore threads but I don't insult them.

To Chaos - I think that "ignore the bullshit homophobia, treat 'em with the contempt they deserve and just walk off" is the smartest move, honestly. SL ain't RL in that they can't beat you up for being gay, so you have that at least. Given that they can't do you physical harm, I honestly think that reacting to them is giving 'em fuel for the fire. Just mutter "wotta pack of charmless gits" to yourself and walk off. Seriously, in SL where you don't have to worry about being chased down by gay-bashers and thumped, there's no danger in just turning your back and walking away.

To Okiphia - mentioning a partner in passing isn't "shoving it in their faces", any more than a straight person mentioning their partner in conversation is "shoving their heterosexuality in everyone's faces". It's not okay to ask folk to lie about their lives in order to avoid being harassed by the prejudiced and clueless.

Shoving it in their faces in my humble opinion would be sharing intimate details not mentioning a same sex boyfriend if this is then straight people who constantly talk about their husband, wife, boyfriend, or girlfriend must be shoving hetrosexuality down people's throat...which I strongly object too. It is bad enough they got to kiss and do simulated sexual implied activity on television where every one can watch. Those breeders really need to keep their lifestyle behind close doors where they don't hurt anyone. I find it broadly offensive.
It teaching people to breed. We got too many people on the planet cause all sort of harm on the world as is already. And too many children being born by Parents who can't care for them... Breeding is got to stop. Their ought to be a laws about that dreadful "hetrosexuality" its responsible for everything wrong with the first life world and probably sl too.

You know it's funny this topic came up. I was talking with a friend about all the homophobes in SL just two days ago.(I'm one of those damn 'breeders'..lol)

In a way I didn't realize there are so many 'anti-gay'(or insert your own title) residents. Being born and raised in So. Ca. it seems i live in a 'bubble'. I call it a bubble, for as long as I could remember everyone just accepted people for who they are(not what they do behind closed doors, etc). If i go outside the bubble, eg. Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas. I have been to each of these named places and find it to be very true. Not to forget most were of the people I'm speaking of are/were 'religious'. Most cases it comes down to ones beliefs religious or not and those are hard to find a 'happy medium' with. I don't knock religion, it's just not for me. I have gay friends/family in RL and gay friends in SL. I don't knock it, it's just not me.

The way I look at it, Who gives a flying purple fuktuzit? The majority of times these people would not have the courage to say it to your face, but when it's text the all mighty brave person comes out.

I think the best best is to mute the offensive person and report to the SIM owner or if it crosses a line AR the clueless one.

It is conservative by the persons opinions because how they treat the low income folks of that state.

Both threads had to be locked by Strife, I believe at one point you accused LL of being homophobic, and as I recall a Midian admin came onto the thread to try to mollify you and defend the sim. So your alt named "Autoscum Bikcin" may have been 'recognized' by whoever you were talking to. I imagine you are fairly notorious there, perhaps as "that asshole Bikcin"?

I personally have never been to Midian, have no idea whether or not they are homophobic. But your disingenous OP here, which seems to imply that this phenom is new! and shocking! to you, is I think manipulative of the forum participants' good will in wanting to help you. Theo, you should know better. California is very conservative and living behind the orange curtain you are in one of the most conservative areas. The areas you mentioned are HUGE, especially LA. SF is relatively small but it's influence runs all down to San Jose.

Get away from the coastline and out into the central valley and it's an entirely different world. Sacramento has a liberal central populace but go to the suburbs and you'll find a conservative population that shine brighter than the reddest of red states.

Like you said, though, living here is like living in a bubble. My partner and I are so use to holding hands at all times that we constantly have to think not to when we go to other parts of the country. We have many flaws here in the land of nuts and berries but I'm grateful to be here.
